Looks like all the guesses were right! New bust from The Bad Batch for pre-order on May 4th. Based on the pics on the website, there is a swappable head as well.

So they have this listed as a Mini-Bust, but it's a 1/7 Scale Bust right? Are they just not differentiating them now in terms of how they name them?

It has the base of the Animated Mini-Bust so I'm assuming it's 1/7 scale. What I don't understand is why on the the website they have two versions with each having an edition run of 3000. One that is only unhelmeted and another that comes with both the helmeted and unhelmted heads. Both were listed for the same price with only one being eligible for the PGM discount since the other was a Web Exclusive. Funny thing, all of the May 4th items are now removed from the website.

With the discrepancies you mention it makes sense this item is no longer on the site. They probably need to put the descriptions and pricing in order.

So looks like it's back now. They're both still listed as $99, but the one with interchangeable heads is now limited to 1000 and listed as a Web Exclusive under PGM with no discount. The one with the helmetless head is also at $99 but the PGM discount would apply and limited to 3000.

Cool, I'm going to try and get the exclusive one.

Same here. I think they've got the regular one priced wrong. Aside from the fact that it shouldn't be the same price as the exclusive, the animated ones have all been $60 so far.

I see that for PGMs the regular one is $84 while the exclusive is $99. I think the higher price could be due to size. Wrecker is a larger character, so I'm going to assume the MB should be a little bit bigger than the other animated ones. It's also possible there's been a price jump since the first "batch" was released. Those two reasons are all I can come up with for the price difference, being it's an animated MB.

Actually, now that I think about it, it must be a larger MB. The Biggs MB is priced at $102 and it's a 1/6 scale with interchangeable arms and heads. So the price difference between the exclusive Wrecker and Biggs is $3, Wrecker has got to be bigger than the regular animated MBs.

That's because you're seeing it with your PGM discount. The regular price on both is $99.99. The website has both listed as 1/7 scale and they have the same animated bust base as the rest of the line. As to whether the actual dimensions are any bigger than any other MB, no idea. I still think they've got the regular one priced wrong. This wouldn't be the first time we've seen an animated bust with the wrong price at first.

He looks great , but the regular edition version should be priced at $60. like the rest of the 1/7 line imo. The $60. price point is one of the things that makes that line an attractive one to collect. If they want to charge a little more for the exclusive one , so be it. But I wish they'd keep the regular one priced at $60.

I won't mind if it's a pricing error but I don't really think it is. With the extra head alone I wouldn't expect it to be $60, but I'm sure this one will also be a little bigger. I'm sure when we see the next regular size animated bust it will not be $60. Prices go up, and with the way things are heading post-pandemic, prices will definitely go up.

Not really interested in either one of these… Trying to stay away from this line in general.

He looks good but I'm staying away from the other scales and just sticking with actual mini-busts. I'd buy way to much if I didn't.

Crosshair is my favourite of the Bad Batch but Wrecker has the best helmet livery, bust looks great! (y)

Looks really nice and I bet once they are a full set would look even better, yet I’m steering clear of any 1/7 scale so won’t be picking any of these up.

Been buying a few SW and Marvel Legends in 3d so at the moment, I’m going bigger rather than smaller. Preferring a few select larger pieces than loads of smaller ones.

Is this going back up for pre-order as I still don't see it on their site?

You may want to check again. I don't think it's under the PGM exclusives any more. Looks like it's now just a "Web Exclusive". I logged off and could still buy it.

Yup, it's now available to everyone. Thanks for the heads up!

What the heck is going on with this bust? It's been 1 year and 7 months since it was revealed...

Tell me about it, the countless amount of products that have gone up after this that are now available are ridiculous.

No reason this should be as delayed as it is.
