After the event finishes and there is left over stock of items only exclusive to CE, what happens to them ?

Do they get dumped or given away as would be monmey lost or will they end up in stores or sold elsewhere eventually which if the case would mean they were not exclusives to CE ?

Well the art prints were mostly just ripped up in 4 and left there. I wanted a few of them especially the yoda one and i walked past after show to see about 100 torn up.

I know some of the stuff from the US event went on the Star Wars website shop so if there is something that you are after try there first. Out of courisity I kept checking Ebay to see if people was selling stuff on there and low and behold stuff was springing up and some of it is crap! Just leaflets that was being given out!! FFS Lanyard (orange) and the Hasbro coin when I last looked was going for £14 it cost only £3 to start with!

What art print was this? Jerry Vanderselt? I find this hard to believe as the SW Shop was having all unsold prints.

If it was his print, perhaps he did not want to take it back on the plane home. save on luggage or perhaps he does not need the money

I was going for the Hasbro Mcquarrie Luke, but at £10, thought i would wait for them to be awash on Ebay or TRU in the coming months.

Yes i believe it was his but there was loads of other artists doing it too, it was simply becuase they couldn't sell them after the show had official closed to public and if they did can loose there LFL lisence if found out.

SWshop said they would contact after about them but it was not in the contract to hand them over to them so alot were ripped up to save extra costs on transporting them back to US etc which wouldn't have been compensated for. Also not allowed to hand out for free as against contract so only option was to rip up.

A real waste indeed. But to be honest, I'm not surprised that not all prints were sold. Not only were they very expensive, but the artists were essentially competing for customers. At £50 a pop, I could really only justify getting one.

It's a real shame, if prices had been only £10 lower, I'm sure more would have been sold. Those prints that were ripped up aren't going to make any money whatsoever.

Let's not use this thread to post our purchases - there is a CE Swag! thread already.

Cat, can you tell us if you have any prints left? If so, will they be available at SWshop.com or elsewhere? My "Spirit of '77" is feeling lonely on it's wall.

how much was Ken Steacy print?
The last price i saw it for on Sunday was £20

I was hoping to get a Luke Concept figure, but the queues were too much, so i left it. Thought i'd pick one up on the 2nd market, especially with there being 1000's left.
I was not expecting them to be on ebay for £18-£30 !!

Hopefully Toys Arent Us will have them in due course like all the other convention exclusives that fail to sell

Today I was offered the following by cards inc.

Master Replica Medal of Yavin
Master Replicas Shadow Trooper Mini Helmet
Master Replicas Wedge Mini Helmet
Boba Fett Premium Format Figure
Animated Boba Fett maguette
Koto Spirit of the Force Yoda

All at wholesale prices.

The lateness and unnanouced or know about exlusives hurt the sames and the boxes in Shop didnt help either.

The shop catalogu should have been inserted with the program or given out with your tickets or as you walked in at the front.

Did anyone notice on the last day that 1/3 of the shops walls were taken down so people could see inside !

Some of the best con exclusive items ever if you ask me,

I was lucky enough to find that Cat Staggs had a yahoo fan group. (from Cat) I paypal'd for one of her prints with a fellow member who was going to CE. If the deal works, it will be really amazing, as I am not sure what is in it for him. I did offer to reciprocate with anything he wanted that I could pick up here stateside. I just have to say, I'll be sick-sick-sick if I don't get it.

Shoppers at Star Wars Celebration Europe who missed out on the opportunity to browse for show merchandise, can now call in to order the items you couldn't get at the show.

Call The Collector Zone on 0845 305 6000 (lines open 9:00 - 17:00) to place your order.

Try using the "Whats New" menu & you should find the patches, t-shirts, etc.

Has anyone had any luck finding anything on this site? All I see is the Hamill autograph and nothing else.

Well.
Some of these CE exclusives are slowing showing on StarWarsShop.com, but you have to be a Hyperspace Member.
If any left over, they will be available to the public.
Picked a few items.
Thank you.

There was a Celebration Europe stall at the Memorabilia show in Birmingham at the weekend. They more or less had everything. Including the day passes, media and exibitor passes. The exclusive R2 & 3PO was selling for £8 !!

www.play.com also have it at the same price.
