Thought this might be a good way to open up some discussion here in this section. It gets kind of quiet sometimes.
...maybe because everyone's busy playing something.
Anyway, I'm just trying to catch up on some older titles before the big guns are released.
I've gotten about halfway through Aliens vs Predartor, then my copy of World at War arrived in the mail yesterday, so I started that.
I've always wanted to give World at War a try, so I'll try to finish that and then go back to AvP and wrap that up before Halo 4 comes out.

I also play the odd game of NCAA 13 (like it better than Madden) and my son and I still play Halo Reach together.

So what does everyone else currently have loaded up these days?

Trying to plow through Resident Evil 6 at the moment. I've beaten Chris and Leon's campaign (Leon being my favorite so far) and starting Jake's. Really good game IMO allot of critics are being butt hurt. Gonna go online and try Mercenaries and Agent Hunt.

The Old Republic

Darksiders 2 (which is awesome)

I was able to get my wife into Borderlands 2 so we have been doing the co-op campaign after the kids go down the last few nights.

The new Skylanders game comes out tomorrow so I am sure I'll be playing some of that wi the kids for a while starting tomorrow.

Currently playing Dishonored. It's not a bad game but I don't exactly stay up way too late playing it. I've got the Lego LOTR game on preorder, but that's mostly for the Elrond minifig. Earlier today, my son and I were discussing the lack of good looking games coming out soon. Must have something to do with the end of this console generation.

Trying to finish up some older games. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Red Dead Redemption, and Dead Space 2. Downloaded Costume Quest the other day and that's an awesome little game, perfect for October. Still play Modern Warfare 3 quite a bit too.

Getting Assassin's Creed 3 and Black Ops 2 when they come out, so that backlog might get delayed even further.

I'm playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 currently. I'm just finishing it up actually. And am going to move on to either Prototype 2 or wait for WWE 13. Then I'll be doing some online gaming with my friends with WWE 13. I'm looking forward to online play again after deciding to abandon the COD series. And I guess I'll be playing Assassins Creed III. They usually put the AC series on sale on Black Friday. That's how I bought the last 2 games is on black friday, so I will never buy them the day they come out.

A little BF3. Not a fan of it that much. I may have to go back to BF2 Project Reality. Also Eve Online. I just DL'd X-COM UFO Defense off Steam. I still play the old game time to time. One of the best games ever.

Trying to finish up some older games..........Red Dead Redemption.

I LOVED Red Dead Redemption.
Took me a while to get into it, because I don't really care for Westerns, and I thought it kind of had an odd name. But once I got started, I couldn't put that game down. Easily one of my top three all time favorites.

Been playing Supreme Commander 2 on my laptop the last few months away for work. Get back home in 2 wks and have NHL13 and Borderlands 2 waiting for me. Will play those for a week until I receive Halo 4 then Black Ops 2 in the mail. Will be online playing all 4 of those games for the next few months after.

I tried and tried but couldnt get into that western theme game. I love the borderlands series which is the samw genre/style. But western I just coulnt stay interested. :(

My 7th season on NCAA Football 2013(2 BCS titles).

QFT!!!!!!

Red Dead Redemption is my favorite game of all time. Just perfect. I couldn't stop playing it even when Black Ops came out I just pounded soooo many hours into that game trying to beat all the side missions, and tasks. Most of the time I'd just hunt, i'll never forget the first time I got jumped by a bear came out of freakin nowhere.

I'm interested in Dishonored, but it looks like the type of game I will wait for until it drops below $20.

I'm playing Company of Heroes through again; haven't played it for a couple of years.

Playing through HD Medal of Honor:Frontline.

Takes me back!

Oh man. Classic MoH games are great. Haven't played the new stuff. In college, my friends and I would load up the multiplayer at school after class. Loads of WWII fun. I think it was Allied Assault that we played. Great stuff.

Currently playing Fall of Cybertron multiplayer. Love the game. Hate the lack of guns. There's only 4 guns per class, and only that class can use them. Seems very limited after playing so much BF and CoD. I'll be playing that until Black Ops 2 comes out.

Finished World at War last night. It was pretty good. I forgot how much I enjoy WWII games. Really liked the missions in Europe. Thinking about picking up the older COD titles, like 2 and 3, since I should be able to get them fairly cheap.

I wish someone would put out a definative WWII game, that had all of the big battles together. North Africa, Italy, D-Day, the Bulge, Stalingrad, Tarawa, Bouganville, Iwo Jima....
maybe even liberate Auchwitz in a mission.
....and how cool would online multiplayer be with a bunch on people playing on a huge Normandy map, or the Ardennes, or storming Iwo?

Oh well, back to finishing Aliens vs Predator, and some Skylanders Giants with my son, before ACIII comes out next week.

I admit that, when I play, it's the following old stuff:

1. Battlefront II (Yay sharpshooters!)
2. Republic Commando
3. UFO: Alien Invasion
4. Chess.

Tactics, tactics, tactics. If only I were any good!

I just finished Mafia II (including the DLC) for 100%. Now, I'm working on RE6. It's nowhere near as good as RE4, but it's still a decent game. It's going to take a while to play 100% of the story mode (all characters on all difficulties) as well as maxing out all skills and titles.

Ive mainly play my race driver grid completed it and now im playing it again lol. Love my grand tursmio and I also play BF3 and a round or two with my mates with tiger woods 09.

Still working my way through LA Noire. Fun game, but things have been busy lately. After this, I still have Arkham City to get through. These are the last two in my Christmas/birthday (March) backlog. Trying to get through both by Christmas, so the whole process can start again!

Yeah its pretty time consuming. I'm almost done with Ada Wong's campaign and after that i'll probably do some odds and ends before ACIII hits.

I've still got some progress to make in Arkham City. Not sure why I haven't picked it up lately. Maybe I just don't want it to end. I'll see about tackling it this weekend.

Beat Resident Evil 6.

Overall a very good game, favorite campaigns were Leon and Jakes with Ada Wong's being the worst. Her campaign didn't really have any depth to her and it just seemed irrelavent. I recommend but if you still feel unsure wait for a price drop.

Picked up Medal of Honor: Warfighter tonight, but only because with the upcoming Target Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale, I'll work it out where it won't cost me anything after I finish it quick and trade it.
I'm about an hour into it and so far it's nothing special. Better graphics than the first one, but still that same feeling. Like a quieter Call of Duty.

Finished Warfighter last night.
It was OK. Not a terrible game, but certainly not worth $60. If anyone is considering it, I'd suggest waiting for a major sale, or just renting it. It's rather short.
I'll trade it in on Tuesday when I go to pick up ACIII.
....unless Sandy disrupts my plans.

Just finished up gear or war 3 and moving to assassins creed revelations trying to clear out the old games before the new ones AC3 and gears Judgment day

I don't know the difference between last year and this. It's been about 3 years since I bought a WWE game. Last one I bought was WWE all stars. And that was just because it was over the top...

But it gets old. Once you figure out how to beat the computer, it's rise and repeat over and over and over again and not challenging or exciting any more. Its just repetative. Over and over. The Attitude Era portion is ok, you just replay significant events from the attitude era. LIke the formation of DX, the Montreal Screwjob, etc... but that's all. You have certain objectives to meet during matches for historical reasons, but in the end, it's just rinse and repeat. The most frustrating part is that there is no move set in the pause menu. BEcuase you play so many different characters, you don't know what button combiniations do what for each character, and some of those moves need to be completed for the objectives.

I won't be buying another WWE game again as it's just play 2 matches, and then repeat over and over until you are whatever champ you want to be in the universe area of the game.

Been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 3 in preparation for Black Ops 2. Trying to earn a few last titles and emblems before I trade it in.

Nice a avatar Gambit, Go Big Blue!!!

Finished Call of Duty 2 last night, and liked it very much. I can't believe I'd never played this until now, seeing as how I'm a big WWII buff, but glad I finally got around to it.
Would like to start COD 3, but I think I'm going to replay Halo 3 to get hyped for Tues.
Halo 3 happens to be my all time favorite video game, so this will only be about the 1 billionth playthough.

Been playing AC3 for the last few nights, so far I really like it being that it's the first AC game I've played. Debating on Black Ops 2, it's gonna depend on whether or not it has the spec ops feature or something similar.
