Wave Two of 2013 is set to include:

#09 - R2-D2 - Geonosis#10 - Pablo Jill
#11 - Luminara Unduli
#12 - 41st Elite Clone Trooper
#13 - Stormtrooper
#14 - Mara Jade Skywalker - Jedi



Thoughts on this wave as a whole?

Personally I like this wave. Two guarantee buys with the others as strong possiblities of buying.
 
I can't wait to see Mara, Luke, and Biggs... tho I'm nervous about the first two. Mara, because they're still using Sleeveless Catsuit artwork for teasing Jedi Mara (in the slideshow). Luke, because 'improved film accuracy' doesn't necessarily mean 'we'll fix all the stuff we got wrong' (blaster, hair color, skin color, saber hilt--tho, really, he wasn't wearing ANY hilt at the ceremony--any other nitpicky things, better articulation). For all we know, all they mean is they removed the saber hilt and recolored the skin. One thing I DO hope they realize is they already have the correct blaster, from the VTAC Endor Leia. Totally wrong pistol for Endor Leia, but perfect for ANH Leia and Yavin Luke.
 
Better than wave 1. Yavin Luke & Biggs top wants. 1st 2 waves of BAD aren't making end of vintage easier to swallow
 
Other than the BAD parts this line is a total fiasco. Seriously, it's ebay or bust for me to get the cool droids. Otherwise, yeah. "These aren't the figures I'm looking for... Nobody will need to see my identification (I won't be buying anything!) Moving along. Moving along..."
 
since luke yavin ceremony gets an upgrade, I hope they do the same thing for han solo yavin ceremony after we got is a non movie accurate figure
 
is luke yavin going to be all new sculpt? if so I might as well sell off the anniversary luke yavin and biggs darklighter i hope he's as a x wing pilot and about movie accurate the band collar on his right leg then I'll sell off the anniversary biggs pilot. can't complain about deleted scene biggs because of his legs just yet. most of all biggs that i want to see as a ANH pilot for x-wing.

a ep 2 clone pilot, I'm still keeping the ones that came with a ball shape turret that attached the gunship.

This actually got me a little ticked off, I just picked up that TAC Biggs last year. Now I have to get him again!! I hate updating.

I have a feeling this will be exactly the same as wave one for me, one of everything. The only benifit of going back to BAD, is ill get two bonus figures this way.
 
This wave is all about the A-Wing Pilot for me. Everyone else I will just wait until I see them in stores before I decide if I want to buy them.
 
Mace Windu is really the only one I'm not terribly interested in, but I'm not nearly as big a fan of the TVC version as everyone else is, so it might still be better. Worst case scenario is that I have two of that figure, one for Geonosis and one for Coruscant.

Luke sounds good. Biggs sounds good, if a clear re-tool. A-Wing Pilot is good since I've had to clear out my vehicles and won't be getting an A-Wing but still want an easy way to purchase a pilot for my Collect 93 Vintage Update! collection thing.

I applaud you guys for buying them. That just means that product I will buy is still on the drawing board and might make it to production so I can buy it at x.5 to twice retail, or more, from an e-tailer.

there's only one way it could be better: they etch his lightsaber hilt.

really could care less about the a-wing pilot since there's no a-wing for him to pilot. they can get the at-st stuff right, and i'll buy an endor at-st to give the at-st crew something to uh, crew... but no a-wing, or husky seated x-wing for porkins? shame, Hasbro. start off so good and yet fizzle out near the end... you're now the A-Rod of the toy world.
 
Funny how they described Ceremony Luke as "now updated for improved film accuracy". The TAC figure was pretty darn accurate minus the blaster and lightsaber accessories. The term "now updated for improved film accuracy" almost seems like it is referring to Ceremony Han, not Luke. Weird.
 
Will probably only get Rex, neither of the B.A.D.s interest me enough to by all the figures for them.

I'll probably only get Rex and Mara. Mmmh considering the character choices for the first waves, I guess I won't be able to build many BAD droids...
 
Dont know if I'll be a "completeist" on the B.A.D series. Will have to wait to see the images. Mara, Biggs, Luke..yeah. The others will wait and see. Doubt it though as I am already passing on alot of Wave 1

2 vintage pilots in one wave? Another Windu after the 2010 masterpiece? And wouldn't Rex look like any blue and white clone?
 
Indeed. Seeing the 2013 line up, it's the first time i have the feeling hasbro have done everything they could with that line and are now just tweaking already outstanding figures with minor features. I don't think i'll need every figure i already own be released again with BJ everything and only a handfull of completely new characters each year.

Thats what I am worried about. But I am hoping its not the case, I am hoping there will be some cool new sculpts coming, and this is just next years equivalent of this wave;

Even though there are a few figs revealed i intend to get in the first two waves revealed, i do hope the remaining two will be filled with big surprises.
 
At first I thought this one would be much better sale for me. But now I'm looking closer and may not. I'm sure Luke & biggs will be automatic buy and haven't passed up on a Vader yet so probably get that too. Waiting to see pics.
