Anyone have one to sell?
Or trade for two(2) regular SDCC versions?
Any help would be appreciated.

You marched? That's an experience of a lifetime.

I'm assuming you marched in the parade? You're the one who chose to do it, so don't complain to us. Chances are someone who got the figure could care less about it; he's just trying to fill a gap in his collection by stepping forward and asking.

No on is complaining here... I had the figure (until someone lifted it). Just FYI, there is a VARIANT RP figure too. Looks like you will have to buy 2!

I am sure that anyone who belongs to the 501st and marched in the parade will never part with a personal gift from George Lucas. I know I wouldn't but I am sure you will be able to buy a bootleg version on ebay soon enough. Its nice to know that some things can't be bought with a quick $50.

How about $100

and YES, everything is for sale for the right price!!!
Toy Fair(retailer) exclusives, Press Kits, Store Point of Purchase items(displays), Prototypes, Film Props, etc. All not intended to be sold to the public but are......eventually.
If 800- 1000 where produced, it will not be a "rare" item like the Anakin/Vader press kit or a Vintage item that only 1-5 are known in existence.

by the way, the 501st were not the only ones who got the figures, apparently they were also handed out to the band members of Grambling Univ. who marched also. So I can guarantee you they could care less about them and soon there will be an influx of them for sale on ebay.

You're out of line here man...There is absolutely nothing wrong with posting a wanted ad regardless of the item.

I hate to say it but you are right. This is not the place to discuss this exclusive. There is a existing thread HERE.

If the mods would be so kind as to move the above comments about the Rose Parade 501st Exclusive to the proper thread.

This topic is worth discussing however hijacking this thread only keeps it coming to the top, taking away from other threads that may be useful in helping someone.

I wish the original poster best of luck, but he might as well look on ebay. I doubt seriously that a 501st member will sell and I don't think we have any Grambling Tigers in our midst. Oh yeah only one problem with ebay, how will you know its authentic??? I bet all the 501st that received them personally know. See ya in the other thread.....

Spoken like a true tool
... Honestly, as has already been pointed out, nearly everything is for sale at some price. If you had any clue as to who the person was that started this thread then perhaps you would have shown a little more respect. I've been buying toys to keep MOC/MIB since 1988 and even though I have a collection valued in the 5 digit range, I don't have 1/20th of the collection that the original poster has. In case you missed Celebration II, or have simply had your head in the sand for the last few years, he's contributed more to the SW collecting community than most of us will ever dream of.

For whatever reason I check out Wuhers and/or the modern classified section 2 or 3 times a year and every time I regret it. I don't know how GNT, KNB, and the others endure such stupidity on a hourly basis.

Oh... give me a break! It has nothing to do with respect. He wanted to know what it would take to get one, I simple told him. BTW, you got some brown on your nose there buddy.

The band did not get them at the event. They took some many cases to disburse when they got home. Be on the lookout on ebay soon. Some of the guys were even asking how much they thought they could get for them. I would say...they will start showing up this week.

Re: WANTED: 501st Stormtrooper Rose Parade Exclusi

It's amazing to me what a trading card, rose sticker and pin will do to people. Make them "crazy" I guess, huh? Those auctions are getting retarded. But it's for a good cause, so it's all good. Good thing there's a lot of suckers out there to make money off of though...
