I would like a list of states the Boba Fett has been found in.Has there been any sightings in the south east?
sure, the Arizona scalper has 14 Fetts for sale fro $65 each from a three state radius...check his ebay listings

Walgreens may be clamping down as it seems stores are getting talked to about selling these "early".

Well I must have been really lucky today, I found 2 sandtroopers (BP), Chewbacca, and Boba Fett this morning at 2 differnt Walgreens. At my first stop I found 1 sandtrooper hanging on a peg, asked the manager if they had anymore she looked and said no. My second stop none on the pegs, but a clerk checked the totes for me in the back and brought out Chewie, Boba and 1 sandtrooper. I thanked him and told him, "brother these are like gold", he kinda knew already with the calls he has been getting. Good luck everyone.
I finally found some black series at Walgreens last night, so here are some tips:
1. Go at a time when they aren't too busy. Late night probably works best. They will be more likely to help if they are bored or don't have anything else to do.
2. Check the aisles first. Look through the toys and especially at the top shelf risers along all the aisles. I found some like this:
3. If you don't see them on the aisle, ask an employee (most likely a manager will have to do it) if they will check if they have an item in stock. Tell them you have the WIC number for the item which is 352867. This is the number for all of the black series figures and will let you know if they have any including Proto Fett.
4. If it shows they have them, and they aren't on the shelves, they are in the back in totes labeled RST for reset. Some stores are putting them out as they get them or have time, and others are waiting for the holiday reset.
5. Now you have to turn on the charm and nicely ask them if they would go in the back and pull them out for you. It will depend on the employee, how busy they are, how friendly you are, etc. If they don't want to, you can always come back later when a different shift is working.
6. Be polite! These people are making minimum wage and don't really care if you get your Star Wars toys or not. If you're friendly though, they'll be more likely to help.

Early hiccups aside, I think there could be a bright future for these Walgreens exclusives. And if not exclusives, I hope this experiences convinces them to carry the Black Series in the future.
I am 50 miles from San Antonio, Tx and have 1 Walgreens.....went looking last 2 days and nada; today, found one white fett, one sandtrooper and Chewie - no luke no vader. They were really nice there. Retail is $20 each which was nice. I expected a markup
Congrats on the finds, I'm sure if they started selling them at a markup corporate would become even more furious. I don't think these stores are supposed to be selling these in the first place. I've heard that corporate has already cracked the whip and a lot of places are starting to turn people away until their resets.
I could see Walgreen's bring the new Kmart, with one on almost every corner and little fear it would be closing down soon.
Fingers crossed. It'll be way more convenient for me, as there aren't too many TRUs, Walmarts, or Targets close by me. I'd be even happier with CVS exclusives, but now that I've been in Walgreens a few times, I'm liking it.
I hope not, this would totally blow for us international people every time a new exclusive pops up there.
It's only because they basically have a wave to themselves, and a nice wave with iconic characters at that. If they continue carrying BS after the exclusive times out, they'll just end up with every other retailer that carries this line eventually: stuck with a selection of figures they can't sell.
I "think" the issue with this, is because these are wave5 figures plus Boba (8 figure case) which came through a different distribution and meant only for stores, and "solid cases" of Boba will be shipped to Walgreens for the online orders, and Walgreens hasn't received that shipment yet, so they can't mail out what they don't have!!! Personally, I wouldn't call it bad form, just unfortunate timing for those who want it sooner than they are receiving it!!!

I think you might be right about this. Or at least it's probably something similar to what you speculate. The figures that viperskingdom has been selling are probably from the same source as the figures that are showing up now at Walgreens.
I think we all anticipated that Boba Fett would show up on Walgreens shelves with Wave 5, just not this soon. I also think Target can't be pleased that Walgreens is the exclusive retailer of Wave 5 right now. I suppose it's probably Hasbro's SNAFU for not just sending Walgreens case lots of just the PT Fett first, then. The figure is made, so it just comes down to how the cases are packed...could've been handled better.

Don't believe a word a manager tells you regarding these. I called three local stores two days ago and the manager "supposedly" looked these up and told me they didn't have them and that no stores around here had them or even showed them on order. I walked in tonight just to see and sure enough, there sat a new sandtrooper on the shelf. So they have them. They are just too damn lazy to either go look or they are saving them for themselves and telling people bull**** stories. Next time a Walgreens employee asks if they can help me, i'm going to say, yes....please tell me why your employees and managers are liars?

These locations that are boxed are ones I stopped at and actually picked up something. Actually #3 I didnt buy anthing since all they had was 2 Boba Fetts and a Sand Trooper.

#7 I picked up a Luke, Boba Fett, & Chewbacca.
So in the end I'm still looking to snag a Darth Vader.. I'd really like 2 so I can experiment with the helmet and cape.
In that interest I've got a Chewbacca and Boba Fett to trade if anybody's got an extra Vader in the Memphis Area.

I encountered the polar opposite reaction.
When I went into the store, I was shown the monitor and indeed less than half the stores showed the WIC as in stock. But she pulled a bunch of the local stock to her store at my request, and let me choose what I wanted. She then put the rest on the shelf.
That may have happened here.
The tool I used to get ladies to look for me was I brought my three year old out with me and told them I would complete a customer service survey for them! Then they were all eager!
And this is the kind of rude behavior that gives adult collectors a reputation. So eventually walgreens will have a collectables policy so they don't have to deal with the big man babies throwing tantrums to get a toy that will depreciate in value faster than a new car....
Really? Is there an official release date? Entertainment Earth has theirs as arriving Sept, so that seems about right!

Well, there's definitely no conspiracy to keeping these out of collector hands. I live in Memphis, where laziness knows no boundaries. I found the stores in the better parts of town of course to MUCH MUCH more helpful and some of the other spots… I didn't even bother because it was clear that saying Boba Fett was obviously going to be just another language barrier… any way enough about Memphis.
Ask nicely in person from a manager for a list of where you can give Walgreen's your money for these products. They may have them at your first location.
They might not initially care to go digging, you may have to push, you may have to say… PLEASE of all things. If they don't have what you're looking for thank them for their time… tell them you appreciate the effort.
Moving on… the next store...
Use the list very overtly, ask for a manager. They dress the nicest and should care the most about you spending money with them. Never assume they are a manager though...always ask… just seems more polite… and less abrupt before you drop a mindf%$K on them like showing them with your hands how big a prototbobawookie you are looking for. Ease them in...
Explain your situation and that you are aware of the fall reset and that you show these items (on your list clenched and wrinkled in your left hand) to be on hand and were referred by another store.
Be very up front that you hate to ask for something like this but it is important to you and you'd gladly spend your money with them being you have probably been to several stores.
I always find that being easy to deal with makes it easier for them to give in and do your bidding… Coming in sweaty and pissed that you've been to every Walgreens in town just makes you sound like a smurf. <<wink>>

Jabbabon, you can step off! FYI my wife was the one who called and was very polite to all the employees she spoke to. I'm just tired of getting the runaround and being outright lied to by people who can't be bothered to DO THEIR JOB! It's this exclusive/limited crap that is slowly ruining this hobby. I've been collecting Star Wars, Hot Wheels and a number of other lines for the last 30+ years. If stores can't be bothered to handle the questions and inquiries regarding their own exclusives, then they shouldn't offer them in the first place! If that is considered being a "man-baby", then i guess they will just have to reap it. If they want to lie to customers, then they can deal with my attitude!
how can i get an employee to show me that screen that shows the stores and the # on hand (or on order, etc.?)

None of the above!!! Or possibly any if the above!!! I go to the same store before work everyday, they know me very well there, and I know most if them on a first name basis!!! So when the reports first came in on this, I stopped in like I always do, but this time with a WIC#, manager looked it up but said none in stock at her store, so she ordered it for me and said it could come on the next truck!!! A couple of days later, I learn that they can look up other stores stock, so when I stop in, I ask the manager to do so, and this person is the complete opposite of the traits you listed, she didn't know how to look up other stores stock, but then she figured it out!!! I just assume it's pretty rare that customers come in or call and give a WIC# and start asking employees to search all over the planet for a product, wether in the stock room or in cyberspace!!!

Not to change the subject too much folks.....So Marvel Agent Venom is on sale for $14.99. Wonder if (just thinking outload) the SWBS will be discounted soon; or if there are any left for their Black Friday deals?
My wife and go to WG on occasion due to double coupons sales. But we were always go on BF since it's only a couple of minutes from our house.
Oh and the local WG still doesn't have BS6 yet. But plenty of the above M.A.V.

No Venoms at any of my stores...wouldn't mind picking one up at the $14.99 price point.
Managed to finally find something at the fourth store I hit. They were redoing the toy aisle and I found a Fett under a Nerf gun and another under some Game of Thrones figures. No sign of anything else.
I'll probably try to trade one of the Fetts, but I couldn't leave the extra there. They're just so pretty.

Since they're (I think, technically) not even supposed to be on shelf yet, this might be a premature call.
Come December/January we can start doing the postmortem.
