I checked that Battle Droid several times during the day and I never saw it in stock once. They were all in stock, but not anymore.

Yep. Some of the other TBS6 figures that were $10 have now gone back to "regular" prices. They were all in stock, but not anymore. Maybe a cyber monday special that ended 12amEST?
I shouldn't have said all were in stock as I didn't check the battle droid. But Jana & Wedge were there for sure.I checked that Battle Droid several times during the day and I never saw it in stock once.
That's the only one I wanted, but didn't get.I shouldn't have said all were in stock as I didn't check the battle droid. But Jana & Wedge were there for sure.
Ago, thanks...did not know that. Looks like the old Trendmasters mold. Wonder what happened to the disintegrator pistol it was supposed to include? There's also an Iron Giant one as well.
They reused the old packaging text but no pistol actually comes with this release. These fly off the shelves in my area, although I suspect much of it is scalping and not collectors activity.Ago, thanks...did not know that. Looks like the old Trendmasters mold. Yeah Yavin Luke and to a lesser extent Janna are the primary culprits in my area. My Target (I know, wm thread, but whatever) has six Lukes. All my local stores(like 4) are all shelf-warming Yavin Luke, Jannah and Wedge.
Okay, at this point, Hasbro doing this kind of crap deliberately, just to be jerks. The thing is that the Yavin Luke is going to be a carry over with the case that has Dooku, Zorri and Bly.
I think they’re doing it to correct their box misprint. And they probably figured that Luke would sell, since it’s kind of unprecedented for him to pegwarm in the Black Series.Okay, at this point, Hasbro doing this kind of crap deliberately, just to be jerks.
Include a lightsaber with Luke Skywalker? Now there's a novel idea!Maybe if they included the Skywalker Strikes version's accessories he would've sold. As it is, he's pretty bare bones with just the medal and blaster.
Considering the corrected version is already shipping as a running change in Wave 23 (Cara Dune), I'm not convinced Hasbro nor the fans are that masochistic to pile on even more peg-warming, half-price figures. As I've said elsewhere, double-packing Bly made more sense in Wave 24. And, if there really is an overwhelming desire for corrected Lukes, they could have offered solid cases via fan-channel outlets.I think they’re doing it to correct their box misprint.
The first wave sold out around me, but then Walmart restocked and aren't moving very much. I've seen the same qtys there for a couple of weeks now. They reused the old packaging text but no pistol actually comes with this release. That only explains why the figure was made, not why they're re-releasing it even after it's proven unpopular.I think we can assume they didn't think it was going to be a pegwarmer, but instead would be a very popular figure as the main Luke in stories for the time being.
My memory is that they announced it was going to be in the follow-up wave even before its first wave was released. That only explains why the figure was made, not why they're re-releasing it even after it's proven unpopular.
I may pick up Wedge seeing I don’t have him. I might even pick up another Jet trooper too. Those guys I do like.
The contrast is amazing. They get in a crap load of JW and Toy Story. You look at the Star Wars section with nothing. Don’t get me started with Beyblade.New toys planogram and Star Wars reset at Walmart...Mando wave and ESB BS Wave 1 already scalped...never seen these shelves look so neat!
