UK Findings and Buyings Thread

3PO sold out. Wasn't for me, just don't have the shelf space, but it does look like a lovely piece so I hope you got it if you were after it. The droids from BoBF arrived yesterday; great set. Keen for more on screen-droids from Disney. Its vehicles are pretty good quality, too. I have the sand crawler from a few years back, and am looking forward to getting the StarCruiser:)
 
I got a shipping notification for my mouse droid. But it says delivery by 29 May on the Disney email.

Edit: DHL tracking says Monday.

Mouse droid box is ridiculously big! Outer box refers to mine being number X of 300, so looks like there were only 300 for the UK (and possible Euro store too?)
 
Yep, first thought was: this is so much bigger than I was expecting! I've already pre-apologised to my wife.

Mine says 251 of 300. I don't think they were numbered in any kind of order, I ordered mine in the first 15 minutes and it was still up for hours afterwards.
 
Still waiting on my Mouse Droid to ship and email confirmation was 8.06am. I have got my BOBF droids though.
 
Unboxed the mouse droid and I can see why the box is so big... This thing is huge! More of a small dog than a mouse! It's bigger than my tool box... Mine's 207 of 300, btw.
 
Update - just got shipping notification for my mouse droid :) Can't wait to get this as it looks so much fun based on the various videos doing the rounds.

The consensus among the RPFers seems to be leading toward it being pretty accurate in size. There's a pick of the real prop at the bottom showing it is rather big, but even then that picture doesn't really prepare you for how big it actually is.

Mouse droid arrived and I couldn't be happier. So much fun and the last time I was buzzing off adding something new to the collection would be the Hasbro Sail Barge and Sideshow lifesize Grogu.

As much as I like the high end accurate prop replicas, models, statues and Hot Toys figures, none of them are as much fun as this mouse droid
 
Does anyone have a line on a J'Quille figure? I've been after one for a couple of years but always seem to miss them on eBay and echo. Would be really grateful if anyone could give me a shout if they spot one anywhere

Picked up the jumbo figure of Sy Snootles by Gentle Giant. Ordered it from a UK retailer, The Gentle Giant. Never used them before.

I originally ordered from Zavvi, along with the other band members, but seeing as Gentle Giant in the US has gone bust, I doubt any orders will be fulfilled with Zavvi or the other figures will see a release. Shame as the Snootles figure is fantastic.
 
Hard to want to instantly preorder a Bom Vimdin reissue due in October when there are no other new announcements to combine in an order to save on postage (Gam Guard and Bib appear to be USA only reissues?)....

At the start of May, Star Action Figures posted some comments that seemed to suggest they’d be getting the Gam Guard in.

I suppose it shouldn't be too long before the next livestream anyway, Hasbro have done Marvel, GI Joe this past 2 weeks and there's a Transformers one next week. Perhaps the week after? Would be good to see Han & Chewie
 
Some more decent discounts going up at SAF. Including the TVC shriek hawk 4 pack and ahsoka and droids escape from order 66 packs at £39.99. I’ll probably get another black series stap when they go up later in the week

Did that actually come in stock?! I kept checking and it was always 'OoS' with nothing in any 'check stores' and then the listing just disappeared for me.

I just set up a stock notification, got an email some weeks later to say it was in stock, and ordered two right away.

Got my HT Kit Fisto from OSK today. Nice figure but it's on the worst body I have ever known on a HT figure. The legs are so loose it's like a 20 year old Sideshow body. You just move him slightly and the legs go flying wide
 
Has anyone found any more Micro Galaxy ships? Last I saw them was when a few of Wave 3 (I think?) showed up at The Entertainer, but obviously (as usual) that didn't last long. There are some on amazon but seem a bit expensive compared to how much they should have been.

Not displayed mine yet as have to move the cabinet all my HTs are in for some electrical work, thanks for the heads up, will keep any eye on that. Hope that won't be the case for Plo Koon when he's released.

Star Action Figures have some in stock and for pre-order. They’re very reliable.

It would appear that someone somewhere (Hasbro UK) forgot to order these! It would have been the best selling figure of the year bar the retro boxset, we asked for more stock of these bar the Retro box set, and they are not coming to the UK .... AS THINGS STAND.

Hard not to be negative sometimes!

It's very hard not to be negative when discussing Hasbro. Just look at the TVC cards for one. FIVE YEARS they promised us at conventions they were looking in the issue. It took drastic action from SAF to finally get a change. Hasbro could of stopped 5 years of failing TVC sales (and negative comments) if they had acted straight away like they said at numerous conventions, instead it took SAF to returned a very high value amount of stock and refuse to take more to sort it). By which time sales had slumped.

"If you knew half the things I know about Hasbro...... you'd probably short-circuit"

SAF go on to say some things that make the status of TVC in the UK seem pretty grim, which I'm worried by. But it's not surprising with crazy high prices after years of damaged cards and some truly poor character choice/lineups last year with many incomplete teams and crews. 2025 has looked a lot better for my own personal wants, I just hope the T word doesn't kill the hobby before hopefully Steve Evans can begin to turn things round in 2026. At least the Hasbro team definitively said 'TVC isn't going anywhere' at Celebration Japan.

IMO the only thing that will save TVC is retro.

Could also be the thing that destroys is though.

TVC is in a bad place. Its too hard to find what you want, far to much surplus stock, and the 5 years of damaged card (as explained above) has done far more damage to the line than people know.

Personally I don't think it will recover and is a sitting duck.

Hopefully Steve Evans can work some magic, like he attempting to do with retro, but I fear for TVC the damage has already gone to deep to drag it back.
