Got the revised price list for next year... not good reading, pretty much everything is up 15% :livid:

Well apart from store exclusives yes indys can ORDER everything.... but that doesnt mean we will get it all thou.. as with previous years the wholesaler paul is talking about offers it all but doesnt bring it all in as they dont get enough orders to make MOQ sometimes. but yes ALL Early 2011 product will/ should in theory hit the UK as its a movie launch and product rebrand... but come the end of the year we may be back to the same old problems.
 
I still think it's useful to start another topic for the UK area, as it otherwise gets a bit cluttered if people are looking for the latest buys in the UK. It's not to do with the limit, I just feel it's convenient...

Finally got my Search for Luke set from play. Very nice set but the tauntaun is huge!
 
They got Wedge available on Play.

Don't need it myself as I'm happy with the one that came with the X-Wing. :joyous:
 
Don't know if it's in-store, but TRU have a Buy 2 get 3rd free offer running online at the moment. Might be worth getting your 4 figures through this, as this weekend is the last in order to qualify for the free Proto Boba Fett!
 
Had a bit of a Star Wars spend up recently:

Got the snowspeeder, y-wing and pilots in toys r us cribbs causeway at the weekend. Very good sets - especially pleased with the snowspeeder itself and the TIE pilot! Unfortunately there was only one decent vintage figure - a gammy. It's certainly the place to go if you like Dengar... Smyths had many, many of the ponda wave at £7.99.

Gave toy palace a go - can't fault them at all. Got a few legacy figures (Han, Chewie, joe Johnston spacetrooper, etc).

And finally popped into Automattic Comics in Corsham - legacy c-3po, zev and general veers. Matt was great as ever.

Cheers for info, I got the vintage Y-Wing and 2 x Vintage Tie Fighters using offer.

My quarter scale ANH Han arrived today. Amazing figure. I had a bad experience with the Indy figure in this range but the SW ones are fantastic. Some good prices out there if you shop around on them. I am aiming for the Hoth Han next
 
The missus got me Hasbro Force FX Anakin Lightsaber for Christmas... it arrived the other day, I had to open it up and test it, to make sure it was working & wasn't cracked! I had a hard time convincing her that this needed to be done, but she eventually caved in after I told her she had tried on her new coat for Christmas not only in the shop but also two or three times when we got back from the shops... women!
 
Just come back from Smyths Bromborough and they had lots of stuff - Ponda's, Bastila's, Hoth Rebels, and some Wedges. No Weequays though, and unfortunately no Gammy's! :upset:

Asda there still had a small bunch of Saga Legends they can't seem to get rid of, dominated again by Hoth Hans.

Does anyone know if the Toys R Us 3 for 2 offer applies to Lego?

Smyths have the Lego Millenium Falcon for £109.99 down from £132.99 - wish I could get my hands on the 10179 Falcon, I have held off buying the 7965 Falcon in the hope of getting my hands on one of those bad boys.

Also noticed on Order 66's facebook they have an offer - Order £66's worth and the delivery is free

Well thanks to Darth Paul, I got my SSC Clone Seargant this week and it is stunning!! Too stunning though, might need more SSC clones now :tickled_pink:

I did think about stocking these but the difference between my price and the price play.com were selling them at didn't make it seem worthwhile

Just to follow up on the post I made a few weeks ago, I've still had no luck in hearing about my orders from the 3 Darths through phone or e-mai. Did someone mention they had him on Facebook? Would it be possible to have a link? Starting to have a bad feeling that i'm not going to get these items from him.
 
FREE Lego Vulture Droid with the SUN tmrw... sorry but you have to buy the paper for the token to get the kit..... but throw the paper in the bin on the way out !!!

Got my Search for Luke Skywalker battlepack today from PLAY and noticed the tape on the side has already been cut,I don't seem to be having any luck with actual sealed product at all recently!The contents inside seem sealed though I am suspicious of the Tauntauns harness,has anyone sent this battlepack back to PLAY at all?
 
My local Tesco (Ely) just got the CW Eeth Koth wave and last batch of Saga Legends in.

I was also just in the local Toymaster as they were opening up a case of Vintage figures. It was Wave 3 again (inc. Wedge and a Gammorean) plus some more Sandtroopers and EP3 Clone. There was nothing I was after other than the Yoda, but it's good to see that Hasbro has fixed the problem of the green Clone helmet!

I am in the same boat. I ordered two figures from 3 Darths back in June. They haven't replied to my messages although I did manage to speak to someone on the phone two (?)weeks ago. A delivery from Hasbro is (supposedly) due.

In short, 3 Darths - get your communications sorted out or you will lose customers!
 
Forbidden Planet in London yesterday had a new wave including Bom Vimdin, red ARC Commander and slave Leia for £10.99 each.
 
Got my first mail in fett yesterday

Yeah, it is a real worry just for the fact that i'm waiting on 5 figures - more than £50 worth of items! I understand issues that he seems to have had with his shop and seemingly with shipping from suppliers but its just really not professional.

Popped in to TRU Swindon to get toys for the kids an got 4 more SW figs to get another boba so I can open one as I'm v impressed . Spoke to manager who's a SW fan an he showed me the new. EP1 maul saber and mini transformers in new packaging. He doesn't know the on shelf date of it thou but cases arrived this week from head office. He also let me pic case fresh figs for the offer so I got I punched wedge gammy yoda an sandtrooper.
 
Does anyone know if the Boba Fett offer is valid on vintage collection bought from Amazon uk?

Anyone know if this FP but Not TRU wave contains the elusive Bespin Han? - I know he was originally in the the Bom Vimdim Wave, but Hasbro seem to have been playing mix 'n match with the different waves over here......
