Toys R Us

Where the hell have been the sales on the core 3-3/4" line? I have not seen anything beyond a sale at K-Mart last week.

Why did you post this same question in 10 different threads over 2 forums? Just curious.

The Battle for Endor battle pack is $30 off only today, is it good at $70?

Only if you missed something the first time, or have to have one of everything, or have money to blow and nothing else to buy.

IMO, it's a big disappointment. Mostly because they release this rehashed set at a premium price instead of offering something new for Xmas for $100.

IMO, this was the worst "Star Wars" Christmas since before 1995.

but the answer's not going to be different across the entire retail landscape, so your way is just spamming the forums.

TO, it would save time to ask the question once, in one thread. Since we can no longer start our own threads in the RS forum, I ask the question in each relevant thread, because not everybody visits each thread.

my TRU has a pegful of yoda and another of r5g19. a few Vaders/Hoth lukes.

they have separated the Rebels stuff away from TBS. TBS has cooties now.

if TRU had stock of SW figures that were not moving I'm sure there would be a sale but as of late (at least by me) TRU has been a Ghost Town in the way of SW stuff (except those Command sets)

I SH#$ you not. Walked into my toysrus today and saw THIS:

You can't see them all but there are 16. No joke. 16 of them. Nothing else from that wave. Just 16 Starkillers. WTF?!?!?!

I visited TRU last week and there was a good supply of ROTS Vader, Yoda and Wampa-whipped Luke, but no other TBS.

All I have seen at tru for the last several weeks are hoth luke, yoda and that r5 unit, the exact same figures sitting in the exact same spots on the pegs I might add.

Went to my local Toys R Us here in LA and there were ZERO Black Series 3.75 figures. None. Only one peg even reserved for them. The rest were the 5POA saga figures and Rebels 2 packs. Not cool.

Two of the Targets I frequent have 6 pegs designated for the 3.75" BS...but they have been consistently completely empty for the last 4 months.

I wish I could transfer some of the starkillers that are clogging the pegs at my store down that way.

I wonder when they are finally going to clearance the Biggs figure. There are a bunch of them too.

Just stopped b our local Toys R Us again today and still nothing. Plenty of 5PoA figs and 6 inch black series stuff (well, rows of prequel Obi Wan and Slave Leia) but still no 3.75 black series. This is gettin ridiculous.

Melonballer - if you want to message me I'd seriously PayPal you the money for two Star Killers plus shipping if you'd be into that!

LEGO is going to continue to be the top toy seller if Hasbro can't stock SW 3.75" figs anywhere. I don't care for 31", 6" or 5POA ... just quality Ep IV+ 3.75" figs that I use to be able to buy in the past. The line peaked with Vintage Collection and the drop off has been miserable.

Went to a Toys R Us in the valley today since I was up that way for work. They had 10 R5-G19's, which I happily bought one of, and that was the entirety of their Black series 3.75 figures. I went to Target down the street and they had nothing. In the second largest city in America, in a 15 mile area, literally the only Black Series figure you can find between Target and Toys R Us is a peg warmer droid figure. That's terrible. I've got the money to spend and the desire for product. Hasbro just doesn't seem to want to put it out there!

Lack of new product just makes it easier for a relatively new collector like myself (2012) catch up on old stuff.

No new product has gotten me to buy old stuff. My Mos Eisley Cantina and Jabba's Palace displays have gotten much larger.

does anyone know why this happens? It effectively got me out of star wars stuff for almost two years now and was a lifelong hardcore case before that

Found Dutch Vander at a TRU in kennesaw ga. I was stoked I have been looking for him for weeks. Probably went to 20+ total wal marts, kmarts, tru's, and targets looking for him. Today was a good find. I saw him from a distance and didn't know whether it was real or not until I got close to it. Also gotta love TRU for sticking to the 9.99 price point still at least for now.

Sounds like the same old same old. But they do price match their own website right?
Hey, I really know how you might be feeling as this little oldie didn't have the right answer. But I must say it doesn't matter anymore as the store Toy R US has been bankrupt and no more open.

Well, would you believe it is coming back?

There is one store on the east coast.
Not sure about the website.
So, nothing is every over at least in this case.

From my understanding it's a new flagship store in that giant new American Dream mall in New Jersey.
