I saw them at TRU Saturday and was pleasantly surprised they were priced at $19.99. I fully expected a "TRU tax" putting them at $24.99.
Agreed, especially when they have bumped the prices on Movie Master's. The Man of Steel line was way inflated at $19.99!
Actually 19.99 was the correct msrp on those but i wont pay that, not when the injustice version is so much nicer

Has anyone else besides me ordered 6inch black series figures from TRU back in July and still not had them ship yet?
Im really annoyed at this point. I passed on some in the store (a target) because I had these supposedly coming but they still haven't sent a shipping notice.

I preordered the set. I even reached out to the customer service inquiring about them. This was the reply I got.
"I understand that you received a notification that this item was in stores. After reviewing our inventory, I have confirmed that the items are not in fact in stock in stores or online. I sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause you.
Please feel free to submit a new request to be notified when this item becomes available. You may also want to check back on our website periodically, as we do our best to ensure that we have the hottest items in stock and will update our website as soon as we receive additional inventory." this was on 8/03.
I did buy a Sandtrooper from Target as it looked perfectly painted and I was really wanting one now instead of waiting. I hope you were able to get your order in while they were bogo50%.

Ya I did do the BOGO w/tru deal. But with shipping and tax it's only $9 more to order from amazon, which is shipping NOW. So I cancelled my TRU order. It said "back-ordered" on my status page and for less than $10 more i'd rather just get them ordered and done with.
Anyone else suffer a price jump? Finally found something besides R2 today, but the figures were $22.99. I still bought them (the 15% off coupon made them right under $20), but am fully hoping to do a price match at another store. $22.99 isn't the norm, is it?

They are indeed $22.99, but used the coupon for 15% off so they came to $19.54 each. They take the coupon right from the phone so just bring your smartphone. I assumed the price hike was just a NYC thing but didn't want to take chances.

Oh definitely looked at the paint apps. And even the condition of the boxes, etc. Yeah it is a pretty cool store. On the weekends, though it is PACKED and a little crazy. But expected since it is literally in the middle of Times Square. They didn't have them in Queens yet FYI.
I was able to order mine BOGO 50% and added a couple of Han Carbonite Banks and got free shipping. I called CS and got the same lame they don't show in stock in stores, they are backordered and the ship date is 9/3.

I got the one and only set of 4 that the TRU in King of Prussia, PA had on the shelf last Sunday, August 11. 19.99 was the sticker price and the boxes were all in very good shape.
Saw them today at my TRU (California) and yup, seems the price increase is on its way to hitting nationwide.
3 3/4" were $11.49 and 6" were $22.99.
They had all the smaller figures and a 6" Luke and 3 R2s.
When I left, they STILL had them all. They can keep them at those prices.
I absolutely hate TRU. They do that crap with LEGO also, only much more obscene than just a couple of bucks.

Stopped at the TRU nearest me today. They had a tag on the shelf for the 6 inch line for $19.99 but there were other things taking up the space.
They also had a peg for the 3.75 inch line, three figures were there, and they were $9.99.
Looks like this TRU is sticking to the standard price.

For some reason they took them off the online site after the BOGO 50% sale. I just checked the status of the order I placed and it now shows in stock and I'm awaiting shipping.

They have an option to get off it right after if you like, just text STOP to the same number.

It took a couple minutes for me to get mine. You may need to send the text more than once.
It accepted but no coupon from either TRU or BRU....

Apparently the coupon has now been pulled by TRU, deal is dead.
I called customer service and a corporate rep is supposed to call me back regarding this. Hopefully they'll honor it.
Well, the rep never called back. I called this morning to inquire about it. The top said that they already re-sent the codes and if I didn't get it too bad. That was not going to fly. I got a supervisor who couldn't do anything. So, I got transferred to corporate. After explaining the situation I was able to place my order with her. With the $10 coupons plus the current 20% off my Gunship rang in at $76.29 after tax and free shipping. If was worth the time I spent on the phone.

Nowhere, I'm just assuming. If friggin' K-Mart and Meijers get them before TRU, it's a bad sign.
