Kenner covered the OT and even the animated series Droids & Ewoks, but they forgot to do an assortment for the Ewok Adventure movies! I was alerted to a petition online, so I'm sharing it to get some support from the collecting community. I think coverage in Retro or TVC would be fantastic. I know we have to be reasonable, and a whole assortment for these movies is unlikely, but even if they sprinkled in a character or two per year, so many fans would be appreciative. The other bonus for Hasbro, is that many of these characters can be retools of existing sculpts! Whether for the main line, or as an exclusive, I hope Hasbro gives some consideration to these great movies!

While I would absolutely love to get Cindel, Noa and Chukha-Trok I do already have the others that I actually care to own. Although we could use a better version of Kaink, and I guess a more articulated Teek would be sweet. Not that it's necessary lol
As for whoever put that list together do they not know that 3/4 of that list has already been made? Because I feel that it's a big ask for Hasbro to commit to doing that many figures, as that's currently a half years worth of product and the ten new sculpts would likely blow the budget apart.

That said I hope the petition is fruitful and they at least release the unmade characters on that list.

I believe it was the actor that played Mace Towani, Eric Walker. I think he was simply listing most of the main characters from both movies, not editing them out if something has been covered. I'm sure he's at least aware that Teek & Wicket were produced. Widdle is a bit more obscure, so he might not be aware of that one. As for Kaink, her Disney release was in another outfit from the Star Tours ride, not her movie appearance, so we really need a retooled outfit for her (which would be cheap to produce). I'm assuming you meant 1/4 of the list, and not 3/4, because most of these have never been released. I don't think anyone expects a full line, I know I don't, just sprinkle a couple in Retro or TVC, see how they do, and repeat if successful.

Youk know it' absolutely baffling to me to not have one Ewok in the line for the 40th of ROTJ! And lets not try to use the 2pk as an example that they weren't ignored because that set is obviously not ROTJ at all. I mean it's not like we're going to get an all new mold for Ewoks so they might a well try get the remaining few we need out now before the inevitable price increase makes them seem very outdated for said price, as it is Wicket and Kneesaa are $18.50 each making them $1.50 more than a single card release. Which isn't all that bad if it's a larger more articulated figure that isn't a 12 year old sculpt, like we're getting with the OWK 2-pk. And even that's $40 thus basically making them $20 each which is $3 more than mainline release. For the life of the life of the line it has always been cheaper to buy multipacks so the fact they are now higher than singles has to point to an increase to the basic line soon. And frankly I'm not of the mind to pay $18 for an Ewok, the Animated 2-pk is a one-off I don't mind for specific reasons but I have no intention of doing it 3-4 more times. I'd rather they did a Pulse 4-pk for $60!

Proposed 4-pack: Chief Chirpa, Romba, Warok and Dalmatian Ewok. $60
Proposed 6-pack: Chief Chirpa, Romba, Warok, Chukha-Trok, Kaink and Dalmatian Ewok. $80

Animated 2-pack: Latara & Teebo $37

I think doing a combo pack, of two ROTJ Ewoks, alongside a couple from the TV films is probably the only way we'll see someone like Chukha-Trok or Kaink, because if this thread is any indication, with only 4 people discussing them (yet 700+ views), there is little chance they'll ever be in a TVC assortment, because Hasbro will expect more chatter, and frankly a lot of people that use forums are too lazy to comment, and only read others discussions. The petition managed to get 859 supporters, which is good, that's nearly the same as other petitions that resulted in figures being made, like Merrick and his X-wing (885) for example.

While I get this concept was a Kmart Exclusive and there very well may not be another retailer that wants to take Ewoks on, I don't understand why Hasbro does not see the potential in Ewok 2-pks. Particularly for the ROTJ 40th! That aside they've already brought back the DLX footprint so in theory it should be easy to place two woks into that box and charge $24.99.

Now maybe the idea of two Ewoks together isn't as appealing to the broader fanbase, do perhaps do "versus" two packs and have a Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper or AT-ST Driver as the packmate to promote more of a "troop builder" set. As that would possibly compel people to buy multiples versus only needing one set of named Ewoks? And by doing that I feel they could milk it for several sets rather than just one or two obscure Ewoks no one has heard of.

In addition, I feel another 4pk is warranted to wrap up a few stragglers that would never make it into the main line, like Dalmatian, Chukha-Trok or Kaink. I feel Latara at least has a chance in another Animated 2-pk if Hasbro wants to continue that "expression", and if the first one is profitable enough. But I feel the anyone form the TV movies have an extremely high uphill battle to get released and probably need "hidden" in some type of multipack with known Ewoks. At least the mold is there already so there's no big holdup in terms of tooling like there is for several other new characters.

Now that a Blurrg exists, it would be amazing if Hasbro tossed an Ewok Adventure character into TVC, so we can start building a scene. While I don't expect the human characters, I think an Ewok or Sanyassan marauder is viable, as either could easily be used as a 'just off screen' ROTJ character as well. Likewise, both could be kitbashed from existing sculpts.

My ideal release would be a repainted Blurrg, Sanyassan marauder, and wagon (seen below), but I realize they're not likely to tool the wagon. I'd happily take just a figure, and it would be awesome to finally see an Ewok Adventure cardback!

I'm not really certain this would happen, I mean on paper it looks good as it take advantage of an existing mold thus utilizing reuse they love so much to pay for new molds. Yet this does seem too obscure/niche of media to pull from for what would be considered a costly toy. That said, I would absolutely prefer it of Chuka-Trok were packed with it as that would actually compel me to buy it!

On the other hand if it was a Marauder it would lend better to multiple purchases due to the troop building aspect of them both. Having a named/known character does limit that potential a little. If they were to even cover the movies at all and did this it'd be nice if it were a small focus rather than one item, for instance release the Blurgg w/Marauder, and then an Ewok 2-pk with Chuka-Trok and Kaink redo. I feel Kaink could be done a lot better these days and have a proper attire this time as well as include her staff. Also toss in a couple Wokling repaints for good measure!

Yeah, that's why I said I don't think they would tool a wagon, it's just a bit too obscure. Maybe Disney+ will revisit Endor at some point, and some of these characters - that's probably the only pathway to release. That said, if they don't tool the wagon, there's little point in simply repacking the Blurrg itself. But tossing a kitbashed Sanyassan marauder into fan channel would be awesome instead.

A Chuka-Trok and Kaink 2-pack, designed like the Wicket & Kneessa set would be amazing, especially when there is so much love for the Ewoks now - I bet it would sell out. They also have unique outfits, not just boring hoods of different colors, so releasing them will be a big accomplishment for world building Endor.

I always thought that when the time comes that Ewoks/Endor fits the theme, we will get a lot of Ewoks & related media in a short time.

i think the Ewok two pack was a good test to see how the theme would sell., ironically many passed since they thought we might not get more Ewoks.

i do fear the working garden I would build if I went full Ewok.

It's interesting with as how "kiddie" the recent shows seem to be, or at least a lot of that element of silly, I can't believe they wouldn't try to capitalize on an Ewok show. Though I guess we're past Saturday morning cartoon type of fare and the Ewoks in general aren't the hugest draw, certainly not 100% Ewoks and probably would need something similar to the movies where it centers on a family or a singular Human who interacts with them. Because if they simply adapted the cartoon it would be too costly to render Duloks, Teek etc. Animation would be much cheaper to do.

I think if this Skeleton crew does well enough it could embolden LFL to look into doing more kid centric shows and the Ewoks would fit that same theme. I really don't think Disney would want to do a darker show about the carnivorous Ewoks from ROTJ. lol

If I recall pretty much every Ewok figure sold through, at least I've never seen any on clearance or at discoutn chains.

Same here!

I think the golden era of Ewoks was during the release of the Kneesaa multipack from years ago. I campaigned endlessly to get her, and it finally paid off, so glad she was repainted for a potentially bigger audience. I've yet to purchase that set though, as I never saw it at Gamestop. Maybe if we campaigned for Chuka-Trok and Kaink, we'd have similar luck, but we'd probably have to get them in LFS or MM to be recognized at this point.

I sometimes get the feeling GS doesn't stock things. lol
I had to order the set online and combine it with something else to get free shipping.
