I would have to think that Sabine figure is going to get repainted at least once.

Based on what I've heard regarding the first figure is major reuse from Academy Luke so feasibly TVC could get this a a retool too, simply omit the SG's sleeves and tool new arms and do better with details on the fabric. I don't know what's underneath the second figure but I imagine that major reuse it totally possible there too, thus new arms with proper sleeve work.

I thought TVC12 handled the arms just fine, so frankly a retool of that figure would be totally fine IMO. Just give him a new head, hinged wrists and lower body with barbel hips.

Frankly speaking all Palpatine/Sidious figures could utilize major reuse underneath SG's so why we've not gotten at least one by now is questionable.
 
I feel like Office Duel Palpatine will be addressed at some point in TVC. How they execute it will be interesting.

My personal preference is they don’t use the Luke (BOBF) legs. In the movie, he’s wearing pants and shoes that mirror Lando’s (Bespin) look and his pants are more auburn/reddish. If they end up going that route, though, it’s not the end of the world. I would just like a more functional version of him in that outfit.

In Tim/BB's latest Q&A video, he seemed to hint that some more TVC reveals are coming before the year is out. The way he said it led me to believe he might even know what the reveal(s) will be. So what do we think? The cantina multipack? Another BoG character? Vehicle? Playset? I'm still holding out hope that we'll finally get the reveal of VC375, who I still believe will be ANH Threepio.
 
^ While I have not watched said video, I have been wondering if next reveals could be soon snd be the codenames on yf list that have had an eta date month added on recently. So could be 1 or 2 dlx figs or a vehicle or mult-pack as well. TVC#375 would be nice to get revealed, finally. C-3PO does feel like a good candidate.

Speaking of reveals, ee has 3 hasbro dates on thier drop zone hints page, granted, none suggest SW but still good to know....

Hmmm, lots of interesting stuff to root through here.

If I had to guess, I think this might be the wave breakdown (mainline vs fan channel) for next year:

Mainline
Shaak Ti/Padme wave (February but probably sooner)
March wave
August wave
October wave

Fan Channel
April wave
July wave

I’m curious where we’ll see the first Mando and Grogu figures pop-up. I could see the March mainline wave being full or mostly dedicated to M&G. If not that one, I’m unsure when they’ll pop-up. The summer waves feel kind of late, but who knows.

I’m disappointed we’re seemingly only getting 6 waves next year. I was hoping with M&G coming out next year, we’d get seven.

I’m starting to think Zeb (Pilot) might be the March deluxe. I think the timing would work out and TBS is also getting a March deluxe. Although, I guess he could be the July deluxe slot.

I'm thinking the same, although, March to Aug seems like a long stretch for main line at retail especially if March wave hits sooner. I wonder if there's another wave for M&G between the March and Aug waves but info is not sharable atm. Oct wave I'm thinking could feature Ahsoka S2.

Also pulling from former rumor list ( assuming those figs are still active) I could see Anakin (rots), Prat guard, JTGuard and Tech as either the April f.c. wave ( if M&G makes up most of March mainline wave) or March mainline wave ( w/ an unaccounted M&G wave coming between March and Aug.) w/ c3po in March wave as #375 in either scenario. Dlx...I could see Zeb pushed to Oct if it could be equally for Ahsoka (like how Fennic debuted in Mando but was carded for BoBF) leaving Wrecker and Savage for March and July deluxe, in either order.

Yeah, I was thinking about that possibility for Mando and Grogu.

What I also find kind of odd is TBS seems to be getting strong figure outputs in March and May, and TVC has nothing slotted for May based on YF’s list. It kind of makes me think that May wave for TBS will be additional figures for M&G, while TVC might get skipped over. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
 
I’m kinda priced out at this point. Just got Revan from Pulse, and only have the Gunship Haslab left. I’m going to be very picky going forward. Good to see stuff rumored though! 🙂

I was really hoping they would have learned a lesson with DLX and started doing mixed cases/waves, if they continue to over produce them retail will be completely turned off sooner or later.

Fan Channel wave has me curious because those have been all over the place and included off figures for a limited release like a Clone. Since it's BoG year I hope one of them is a Jedi, Ki Adi is my top choice as the most out of date sculpt. Aide from TPM jedi.

Hard to say, with their wait and see approach but Mando does have a track record of being well received media so there's that. Still, I don't think we'll see anyhting M&G related until at least May to coincide with the movie's release and likely repacks for that. Then later in the year July-Sept. we'd see some of the "new" stuff to avoid spoilers. This way they can dedicate most of the first of of the year to BoG which doesn't have spoilers to worry about.

I'm more curious how they work in Maul and Ahsoka products considering what you mention below about wave count, close to media release or later on around October. Also, I wonder if we'll se less OT items being that we just had a strong OT presence in 2025 thus allowing coverage of other media with fewer waves? I suspect 2026 is possibly light on product due to them maybe wanting to go all out in 2017 for the 50th. Then again, the rumor list is just that so maybe not all waves are known and we most likely will have surprise reveals like we had with HTTE, Spirit 3-pk etc.

Deluxe has been going to clearance in significant amounts for years now, so I guess retailers don't care? Are deluxe figures $5 wholesale or something? lol Hard to explain why Target & WM even carry them, but I'm not paying MSRP for them ever again, so it doesn't bother me either way.
 
The last time I said that I waited for 9 months for Jango to go on sale/clearance and I had to buy one from Gamestop - the last online retailer to have one. It didn't help that it was fan channel.
 
I wasn't interested in Jango, so I didn't pay attention to availability, but I believe every single deluxe figure that went to big retailers hit clearance. The fan channel deluxe figures can be harder to find on sale, but I'm at the point that I don't really mind missing any of them. Often times, if you wait for something, it's a good indication that you don't really need / want it to begin with or at least realize you can do without it at their ridiculous price points. I also think it's good for consumers to draw a line for these companies or they'll keep charging more.
 
Yeah, the fan Channel one's suck for that reason, but I didn't sweat it because I fully expected a repack on a standard card eventually. 2026 seems like a great year for that with BOG, they just need to add a 5 O'clock shadow paint the arrows on helmet and one or tow other changes.
Or they could release the Kamino version

Well, DLX does carry a slightly higher profit margin than basic figures but I don't think it's high enough to fully counter those losses. At half off they are losing money, most they can afford to lose on a DLX figure is about 20-25% to break even. 15% off at least still generates a small profit but not enough to matter compared to how much they make on clothing items. lol And typically when the retailer runs a sale/promotion it is in participation with the parent company via some sort of rebate to offset the impact on costs. The store will do all it can to seek profitability in store but eventually they will decide that selling it to a discount chain and taking the write off at cost is worth more to their bottom line than clearance sales. It really depends on the item and the deals in place.

With DLX increasing to $28 it may deter even more people depending on the candidate so I don't know how much longer it has if they can't reign in the units per character thus causing cases and cases to go to clearance.
 
I really don’t know where they go with the deluxe line in the future. I’m pretty sure I said the same thing a year ago, and nothing’s really changed, lol.

I still advocate for at least trying to divide up the full cases. One problem I have with a lot of the deluxe figures is I just don’t feel the need to own more than one, so even if I hypothetically buy one at full price, I don’t feel the need to buy another regardless if it’s discounted. If the cases were split between two figures, there’s at least a chance I’d buy whatever other figure was included.

I don’t think Hasbro necessarily has to crank out new sculpts for more deluxes either (Be cool if they did). If they went the route they did for the Stormtrooper + E-Web Cannon, I’d be fine with that. A new bigger accessory + a retooled figure (I’m pretty sure that Stormie was the first to have rocker ankles) could work. I feel like TVC has been missing out on some of those bigger accessories we were getting a couple of years ago.

It does, but there are different kinds of multipacks. We know the Cantina figures are probably one, and BoG should get at least one.

Possibly the same as before, "slim" and "williston" respectively. . Bib F kept same codename. Not sure of Gammy codename though. Bom did get new codename as he is "older"

I'm not saying they are not needed, but I don't see another battle droid 4-pack happening in 2026. That would be too soon.
What I do expect to see next year is a sandtrooper army building pack, which was a glaring omission during RtT.
 
I also would say it would be too soon, but we have to know that some of these are just straight repacks, and there’s not a lot left for them to straight repack. The battle droids do fit the theme. I bet it’s one of them, as will be as someone said the phase 1 clones.
 
^ but a ph1 clone 4pk would not be a "repack" since it'll now be on new body. More like being a redo. Battle droids also may be a repaint into maroon variants moreso than a "repack" and what of 00M9? It was said that was the last 4 pk w/ a "commander". I wonder if a new battle droid 4pk would go the shiek hawk format rather than a white box format. Which reminds ds me, amazon is due a multipack excl. They didn't get one in '25 did they? I don't think so. Same format would be nice for the other 3 clone officers- a work around to include officers, heck, toss in a clone pilot and then make a haslab jedi 3 pk too. 😆
 
My guess for the Maroon Battle Droid is a single carded Fan Channel release.

Alternatively, I could see it or the Commander as part of a multipack called “CIS forces” and include the Super Battle Droid and a version of the Geonosian Warrior.

Since this would mimic the 3 pack - I think if we get the Geonosian Warrior as the new tool in this set, with the Battle Droid Commander repainted and Super Battle Droid repacked from a single card release. The normal red Battle Droid separate in a 4 Pack.
 
My preference for four Pulse packs would be all white Clone Commando, or 2 white & 2 Kamino deco. AOTC Clone trooper Officers, all four this time. Sandtroopers with four black pauldrons, two white and one orange.
Three packs would be SOTE. AOTC background jedi, a 4-pk would also be fine.
