Well hello there, Rebelscum! Bobby is back with another review from The Vintage Collection. Recently, Hasbro gave us the first release of modern toys from the original Droids cartoon as part of the Lucasfilm 50th anniversary celebration. C-3PO is here in all his retro colors and removable panels. Do you plan on completing this set with his faithful companion Artoo along with Boba Fett? Let us know below!

I love this guy, he is the only C3PO I originally had back in the day so is a very heart warming nostalgic throw back for me. The bright colors pop, the scuplting is nice, the articulation is great.

Sole complaint- having to glue the little rectangle on to his back because it wouldn't stay in place otherwise.

I have mixed feelings about the release, I love the cardback, but the coin has soft detailing, and the figure choice is a bit lackluster. I would have preferred a different sculpt, or better yet, a reissue of the Kenner 5 POA version of the figure, which makes the most sense to have these in Retro, instead of TVC. As an opener, I think I'm going to leave this and the others carded, as they work best as a novelty. I hope they do another addition to this sub-line, a Vlix would be awesome.
