How can you tell if it's a repro from the pic? Is it the bubble? You guys are making me scared to buy anything on ebay

The main thing with this one is the HUGE bubble!

... and the fact that it looks like its a Taiwan fett inside, which only came on ROTJ and Droids cards... but there are lot of other red flags on this one. Its a very poor repro.

IMHO you would be better off buying carded figures from the Classifieds section here on Rebelscum. I have never had a problem with anyone here who has a good amount of feedback. I can't say the same for ebay. At least fakes get called out here and we all try to stick together and help each other add legit pieces to our collections.

I just wish these repro's were easier to spot. The drop test and water float test etc.. just don't do 100%

I think the best way to tell a repro is to touch it. Repros are getting better quality lately. I was looking at a bin of weapons from a seller at CV and they were all bogus but had great details. They just felt cheap, didn't have that vintage tackiness and weren't as flexible as vintage weapons.

Funny how this troll started everyone on a long rant just like she wanted. Classic. Probably gettin' a lot of giggles for being such a naughty girl.
