I also have never seen a Tarkin, Meena Tills, and Ask Aak in person before so they are more rare than any senate security will ever be.

These were all HTF here until this weekend. Now they're everywhere. Found 12 C-3POs in one store

Now that I think about I need to add these two to the Hard to Find list in my area,

Darth Vader
Tarkin

Those two plus what I listed in the previous post. That pretty much covers what's HTF in my area!

For the life of me I've not seen the Blue Senate Security in any stores here in the UK and I've searched high and low and travelled to a fair few cities. I even work in London so for them not to be here is odd.

Not seen Vader since the first week these figures hit the stores....

Not seen the AT-TE gunner, either.

Luckily I've acquired all 3 of these so I'm sorted...ha!

The Blue Royal Guard is unavilable in the UK Stenwald!
Hasbro UK apparently said 1 (the Red Guard) is enough.

You'll have to find a trading partner here on RS or check out eBay UK in order to get one.

Aside from the army builders, I would say Vader is the hardest to find, or rarest!!! I mean for one character, he has a lot of kids looking for him!!!!

I'd have to say the rarest figure thus far is the clone that makes everyone happy. That SOB is impossible to find.

Around here... anything that ISN'T a Neimodian, Wookie, Palpatine, Pilot, or Bail. Once other stuff goes out, it's scooped up pretty quick. Even the so-so Jedi... gone pretty quick.

The rarest figure here is anything over 44. I have yet to see anything above that...

I really haven't seen anything that can be considered rare. I've seen every figure 1-50 in multiples (I've even seen a few blue saber palps and numerous royal guards) Recently I've seen an influx of ATTE gunners. I've seen all deluxes (except for the green clone pack) and every vehicle.

The only thing I've never seen was a Lava Vader!

the rarest ROTS figure is the red guard i found that has the glossy head variant and is falling out of the package! Nothing rarer than that.

I think the rarest figure out there is one that I found in the S.F. bay area. I found a blind clone trooper #41 super articulated. That's right blind!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was pulled fresh from the Hasbro box. The mask or visor is unpainted so he can't see. I know this is probably factory error and or variant, but haven't seen any on ebay or heard of any others. Does anyone have one? Should I send it to AFA to be graded. I figure this is one of a kind and very valuable...

Was Bail over-produced? It just seems odd that he is peg warming. I should pick up another for a West Wing diorama.

Mate, if you looked at the final line of my post you'd have read that I do have a Blue Guard - my girlfriend got me one for my 24th birthday from eBay. While it's true they're not stocked in, say, Toys 'R' Us or Woolworths - specialist (collecter/comic) shops have stocked this figure here in the UK and they have surfaced.

I know of friends who have seen them in several branches of Forbidden Planet...one even surfaced in Woolworths in Sevenoaks in Kent and Incognito Comics in Canterbury

Funnily enough, through patience I've got my hands on all of the so-called 'rare' figures here in the UK...and cheap.

I found an AT-TE Gunner that didn't have the visor painted also. I offloaded him on Ebay for a pretty penny.

Down here in Australia, 3 of hardest figures to find were 45,46, and 47. Tarkin, Meena Tills, + Aask Aak. (all Coll-2 figures)
(Coll-1 figures all had a play feature, which the kids would go for more, and all Coll-2 figures, were more for the Collector, having NO built in play feature, like squeeze my legs and my arms move, etc etc)
In my opionion i do believe Tarkin,Meena and Aak were produced in much lower numbers than most of the other figures, and i believe theres a few tell tale signs this was the case. Apart from not being very important to the story of "Revenge" , also some of those figures scenes ended up in Deleted scenes from the movie.
(there was a big gap between #1-44 figures, and 45+ figures, i believe Hasbro had to change the case quantity, etc with Meena Tills, etc, after receiving word from Lucasfilm, that those characters have been heavily deleted from the film-look at deleted scenes on DVD)
These figures, not being very recognisable to kids etc, should have basically Peg Warmed, if they were made in the same quantity as the other figures, just being boring unknown aliens etc, but were practically impossible to find.
Im certain Hasbro took all this into consideration, and heaps less were produced compaired to most of the other figures.
Also another tell tale sign, is, out the entire collection of Revenge figures, ONLY-those 3 figures have a special "Secret Insignia" on the back of the cards. If you look carefullylly on the back of the cards, just above Gen-Grievous number 36, see a special secret insignia, that looks like a cross between a O, and a G. -NO OTHER FIGURES from ROTS, have that "secret insignia" ...
What do you think this "secret insignia" means? on cards #45,46 and 47??? (short packed??) (chase figures??) I'd love Hasbro to tell us what that insignia means one day.

I don't know most boards I've been on frown on that because usually it's done as a "joke"
Then frown on it when it's a joke, not when a conversation buds from it. Not everyone was on the site/participating when this conversion started seven years ago.

One of the things I do like about Revenge of the Sith figures. cloth hoodie Ki Adi Mundi is a whole lot better than the animated Clone Wars Ki-Adi figure

I was never able to find either the ROTS red Emperor's Royal Guard or the Battle-Damaged DV/Anakin @ retail (so I never got either). IMHO these two were the most HTF of all the figures in the ROTS line.
