Just wondering were this will go. What made your day better today, or sometime this week? For me gettign my first kiss the other day. Not much, to most people, especially the married ones, or dating ones, but if you all can remember yor first kiss, you know how exciting it is.

Something that makes me happy today, hmmm. I'd say going out to lunch with co-workers. I know it sounds strange but I am the only one that guys to lunch at my designated time but I was able to switch with someone, so that's good. Thinking about going on my vacation to Disney in a week, that's also good.

Well, I think we all know you are joking! If not then I am really sorry for you!

Congrads on your first kiss _Jeff_.

A lot of little things make me happy each day, too many to mention. Yesterday, the manger at the Subway I ate at ask if I would like a couple free cookies because she made way too many. It was a small gesture of kindness and it made my day. That particular Subway store and manger has always been very very nice and I will continue to give them my business again and again!

For today, if I can manage to take my morning dump before leaving for work sure would be a small thing that would really make my day!

Congrats on the kiss jeff, I recall my first kiss and being decidedly surprised I didn't have a heart attack.

I've been out of order for the last two days with strep throat and a fever, and today, today, I'm happy that the flippin' antibiotics are kicking in and I can operate on a vaguely tolerable level. Even though it feels like dune buggies are being driven in my throat. Its nice to know I'm on the mend.

Took a half day at work and finished downloading last night's episode of The Office. Got batteries for my Maul FX saber, so I will be happy when I fire that bad boy up.

Thats ironic . My kids are going to my in-laws tonight. We have a wedding to go to in the morning. Hmmmm....no kids + just me and my bride = oh the fun we'll have tonight.
....IF i can get rid of this snotty nose.....or i'll be in hell.

Today I got some new Xbox 360 games to play over the weekend. That's going to make me very happy. Not first kiss happy, but happy.

I got a totally unexpected phone call from a stunning girl I know yesterday asking to go swing dancing (which is awesome) that pretty much made my day while walking from calculus to physics. If all goes to plan, we'll be dancing later tonight.

Looking forward to recieving a 12-inch Vintage Kenner Boba Fett, complete with all accessories and in good condition!

I have waited 30 years to obtain this holy grail of SW collecting, and had countless dreams about getting one of these, and now I stand on the cusp of owning one - and it feels real good!

Me happy!!!!!!!

I found out why you should always wash your face when experimenting with cockroaches. Roaches got to eat, too.

Only had to pay 6$ to go to a Flogging Molly concert last night. Then I stayed up until 5am and slept until 3pm.

Actually, there are some maple trees behind me, those are pretty in the fall. Just wish all the friggin leaves wouldn't blow into the pool.

Yesterday I was invited on the leaving party of a guy I used to work with. He was really happy to be leaving the place we used to work at together and I was really happy for him. It was also a chance to catch up with some other former colleagues of mine who I hadn't seen for almost a year, which was pretty cool.

The alcohol was a little thing that made me happy last night but today it's more of a little thing irritating me

Anyday you can see the world through the innocent eyes of a child, especially your own, is a good day.

As I type this, I am on the air at the radio station, and I am playing one of my favorite songs.. and that makes me always smile...

Put on my blue suede shoes
And I boarded the plane.
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain.
W.C. Handy -- won't you look down over me?
Yeah, I got a first class ticket
But I'm as blue as a boy can be.

Then I'm walking in Memphis,
's walking with my feet ten feet off of a Beale.
Walking in Memphis.
But do I really feel the way I feel.

Saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union Avenue.
Followed him up to the gates of Graceland
Then I watched him walk right through.
Now security, they did not see him.
They just hovered 'round his tomb.
But there's a pretty little thing
Waiting for the King
Down in the Jungle Room.

When I was walking in Memphis,
I was walking with my feet ten feet off a Beale.
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel.

They've got catfish on the table.
They've got gospel in the air.
And reverend Green 'd be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer.
Boy, you've got a prayer in Mephis.

Now Myriel plays piano
Every Friday at the Hollywood.
And they brought me down to see her
And they asked me if I would.
Do a little number,
And I sang with all my might,
She said,
"Tell me are you a Christian child?"
And I said, "Mam, I am tonight!".

Walking in Memphis,
I was walking with my feet ten feet off of a Beale.
Walking in Memphis.
But do I really feel the way I feel.

Today I turned 40. How I look at it is that the previous 39 years have been a warm up. The best is yet to come.

How did I not notice this thread before?

Making some deals today, buying some Star Wars stuff, enjoying being unemployed for the time being (until I find a job). Things are pretty good right now.

If it would rain or storm in a big way, I'd be even happier!

When my boss decided to go home early. She gave me $10 and her share of the tips (which turned out about double what they were last thursday) in addition to the key to the store and free reign over our little local pizza shop. Not only was the money good, but the "supervision", if you could call it that, had left the building, and then my usual one free shift beer magically turned into three
...What should have been a crappy day somehow turned itself completely around fairly late in the game...I can't help but feel, though, that it's little moments like this that will prevent me from ever having one of those days where you win the lottery or a trip to some exotic locale or something...it's good enough for today, though!
