Like they did over at Brickset, I'm thinking about what sets LEGO could still come up with to fill in the gaps.

What vehicles and playsets do you think we could see in the future?

ANYTHING that will give us a couple of LEIAS! Hmmmm, I will think on this a bit more and come up with more specific ideas... for Leia based sets and beyond!

What a fun idea for a thread. :)

I'd like to see an A-Wing with Tallie, a throne room environment set with Snoke and guards, and maybe a Raddus bridge set.

Jeremy: Fun Article on the main page — but, uh...

Chewbacca actually DID in fact engage in a dogfight with First Order TIE Fighters on Crait. Remember, how he was piloting the Falcon as Rey took many of them out? ALL the remaining TIES then took off following the Hunk of Junk as it daringly smashed its way through the mining planet’s red crystal filled interior — All the while the iconic Asteroid Chase music from Empire Strikes back was rather spectacularly reprised...

And one of my favorite lines from Finn: "They REALLY hate that ship!"

We need some of the red guards from the fight scene with Snoke
we need some miniature ships to recreate the never ending chase
we need a troop transport with Leia and Ackbar
we need a Ach-to bagged set of a caretaker and two Porg with a nest
we need a variation trooper set for the battle on Crait to go with the trench set

I meant to say Episode 7, not 8. Chewbacca doesn't dogfight TIEs in TFA. Fixed.

The 'thing' about the report that didn't sit right was that each set seems to have WAY too mant minifigures included.

Agreed, it looked suspicious from the start which is why I presented it as rumour. I decided to report the news because I knew the source had contacted a number of other websites and I wanted to get out in front of it and stake our position in case other sites picked it up as real.

But let's try and stay on topic. Craitsurvivor has some good suggestions. I'd like to see a remodelled 75197 First Order Specialists Battle Pack that has Resistance troops and weapons.

We are on topic because even though it was a rumor I was REALLY looking forward to those two sets!

Me three!

Honestly? This rumour seems FAIRLY likely as they really do NEED to put out a Leia figure (like STAT!!). and this vehicle would be the most logical choice for such a set and — had a surprising amount of screen time. Plus, hey... we got her previous transport... so there is a precedent already set! :)

I'm a sucker for TIEs,..I'd quite like to get a regular FO TIE set, rather than the Spec Forces version. An accurate redo of Kylo's shuttle would be nice...

Did I just catch you reading the front page? Well done! Bonus point for you :D

Only on the face of it. So far 1/3rd of the sets have been correct. In TV weather terms that's a 100% accurate report!

I'm still have... what's that word, you know, the one that Leia said at the end of Rogue One...? It might not be exactly as outlined in the intel I received but not having a General Leia minifig would be downright disrespectful.

I just rewatched TLJ and began to ponder the Nox package on Poe's "Gone in 16 Parsecs" X-wing and started to wonder if this might be a potential set.

Or is the fact that 75102 Poe's X-Wing Fighter and 75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter are still available and there's a confirmed new X-wing (75218) mean that there are enough to go around?

I'd love to see a Jedi Tree set with Luke and Yoda minifigs. It'll probably never happen, but it was my favorite scene in the film (and one of my favorites of the saga).

For all the flack it gets, I'd actually love a Canto Bight set. Lots of opportunity for some neat build techniques and minifigs there.

I know I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but I would really enjoy building a porg, like the UCS Yoda statue.

What about the ship that DJ and BB-8 stole that the crew used to sneak aboard Snoke's ship? Seems like a decent candidate. Second for Tallie and the ST style A-Wing.

Double thumbs up for both ideas. The Libertine would be an exotic and exquisite build, and a properly proportioned A-wing (I was suprised to see how snug it looked in TLJ) would be sweet.

I know Sir von Lego is reliable, but I really hope this is incorrect. A UCS-level porg would be such a waste of a set.

The Maul bust and Yoda statue were great builds and as sought after now as they were popular back when they came out, plus the not-a-UCS BB8 was a hot seller and won a Toy of the Year award. So dont discount the porg - I reckon it'll be a good build and a hot seller .
