(1:02:42) link
2/8/15 Outer Rim #3: Comic Issues | Superhero movies are hot right now, but for how long? Who are these lesser-known characters getting their own films? Which studios own which characters? 2/1/15 Outer Rim #2: Indiana Pratt | Seems like Chris Pratt is rumored for just about every major role these days, and Indiana Jones is the latest addition. We talk about that, three movies being spun into television shows, and the fact that Babylon 5 creator "JMS" works too hard. Plus, we're getting one major step closer to being able to cut the cable. Don't miss this episode of The Outer Rim! (0:59:12) link

In the old thread. Satka, you should update those when you get a chance. If you want to send them to me, I'll put them in the first post of the thread so everyone can find them easily.

Hi there.
I did a little tool that extracts info from this thread's index post and separates it into ForceCast and "Other" episodes.
Then graphs are semi-automatically generated (meaning there are still some manual operations involved ... I'm working on automating the whole process)

The thing is it's not always easy to tell the difference (and the duration is not always a good indication)

For the moment, my rule is:
"If the description contains the following, then it's not a Force-Cast episode, but an 'Other-Cast' episode"
"MC-"
"MICROCAST"
"C4"
"Seven Days"
"Celebration Japan"
"Toy Fair"
"C-IV"
"Celebration IV"

It's far from perfect, so I have a suggestion: could the description contain a string that clearly identifies the episode as a FC, MC, or other?

Anyway, the graphs are in your mailbox Eric.
If you prefer another way of communication, just tell me

Re: The Force-Cast Episode Index

Any idea of what's got the August 1 Force-Cast on hold?
Did they announce it would take longer to come out?

Might I recommend a post on the TFN main page that the podcast is delayed? Not all of our listeners are forum members.

We overloaded our server, looking to get it online today.
Might I recommend a post on the TFN main page that the podcast is delayed? Not all of our listeners are forum members.

Well I still can't believe I'm the only French listener here ... Of course SW is not as big as in the States here, but still ...

Would that mean I represent 100% of the French public, and 0.002% of the fans total?

..and as far as I know, I'm the only bald, white guy, from Denver on the forums. (At least I can cry on Sheldon's shoulder if I need some bald support. Unless, of course, we get Eric to shave his head)

Re: The Force-Cast Episode Index

Should we start referring to the August 1st episode as the "Lost Episode"?

Re: The Force-Cast Episode Index

Looking through the list of episodes, I noticed way at the very bottom the following two entries:

00/00/00 | pilot Episode (unaired) (0:52:04)
00/00/00 | Audition tape (see 04/01/2007) (0:14:21)

Have any of these been heard by anyone here, or would they be considered the holy grail of ForceCast episode collectors??

The Audition tape is only available as part of the April Fools show and it's been "remixed"

It's being reserved for translation into French for next year's 1 April show.

(I'll bet Satka's already working on it.)

Our rollover minutes, didn't. It's currently being investigated by a crack team of Hyperborean Commandos. Should, and when, the episode arrives, you'll find it on the all the latest and greatest feeds. I may have already said too much. Your lives are already in danger. Turn back now before it's too >~<

I'll just bump this idea again for the admin folks. Don't want to alienate members of the audience, right?
