If they rally are trying to corner that market, they need to get a lot better about it! Also need to add Protocol Droids to the mix, otherwise it's going to be another 30 years before we get anymore!Absolutely, but I think Disney nabbed that concept from them and made it a theme park only item, so I believe Hasbro couldn't release BADs even if they wanted to...
I tell you man, with the lack of anything coming in our area I feel like those of us in the mid Atlantic are the last to get anythingCentral NC, peg warmers are Resistance Trooper, Zuvio, Goss Toowers, Asty, and no sign of the Unkar Wave yet.....finally got Resistance Rey and Phasma last week.
Shoot, I wish I hadn't gotten out of collecting when Yarna was peg warming. That's one of the only figures I can't seem to get my hands on these days.I find that pegwamers, at least around here, are not consistent. Just when I think it's going to be the Resistance Trooper, it sells out and we get something like Goss sitting for a few weeks.
Essentially, we get short term peg warmers, but nothing long term like Yarna or some that we saw with POTF2 or Episode 1. Sales have been pretty steady all around in this area.
It's in the newest Wave's case with Han and Resistance Rey. It hasn't hit all areas yet. When it does, you'll likely see this thing sitting on pegs after a month of decent sales. Just like PZ, Goss, Hux, Sarco and Zuvio.Had to Google a Hassk Thug to see what it even was, lol. Never seen even a single one of those on a peg anywhere around here.....and I have a lot of stores I hit a few times per week.
Hasbro made an unintelligent move (funny 'bout that) when they decided to pack in three new characters, along side six carry forwards.
And it will continue with the next assortment/s
This company will never learn.
Time for someone else to have a go.
Haha, I'll have to swing by the one in my area.Wanna talk peg warmers? Here in Maine, we have a discount retail chain. They get surplus, salavge, overstock and all that type of thing. I had heard from a fellow collector that the store in his area got some Star Wars stuff in stock. I went to my local store today and was amazed at the amount of product they had. This chain has 14 locations throughout the state. If every store got this much, then it's pretty clear how insanely over produced these toys really were. They had everything, including the hard to find waves with Resistance Rey and Unmasked Kylo Ren. There were some Rogue One figures in there as well, but I didn't see anything from the Thrawn wave.
Armor-Ups, basic figures, a (very) few 12" figures and there were four or five Black Series 6" figures. Both the Armor-Ups and the basic figures were $4.99. Rogue One figures were $5.99. I don't know why those were a dollar more. While I was there, I picked up another unmasked Kylo, two more Stormtrooper Squad leaders and a 6" Stormtrooper for $11.99
