Several of the authors share Lucasfilm's Presidio campus with StarWarsShop, so if you purchase the Encyclopedia online through SWShop you can receive a signed edition by all seven authors ... Yes, I've read a few pages myself and I can't wait to sit down with these volumes and soak up the information.Jovial_Jay said:I've had a chance to browse, but not yet read, the first volume (of 3). It's laid out similar to the previous edition, has some great new art and is surprisingly up to date with at least the Clone Wars show.
Oh ya! ... and spendin' the day hanging' out w/ Zam Wessel (sweet!)royalguard96 said:Looks like being a mod on rebelscum.com has its perks
You can't beat having a book in front of you.lonepigeon said:It is an impressive book set!
I received my contributor copy several days ago. The overall layout is the same as the first one, but I think it's designed nicer - more images, several cool charts, in a nice three volume slip case.
There is an obvious comparison to Wookieepedia but I like having all the info on hand and nicely organized in book form. It's a very comprehensive book and it'll be the "go to" reference book for many Lucasfilm Star Wars projects to come. I think if you're a fan of SW reference books you'll like it a lot.
Same hereCowboyKevin said:Just received a shipping notice on this from Amazon. I had forgot that I preordered it from Amazon back when it was just 1 volume -so they honored the preorder price of $47! WOHOO!!
Same for me.ThinWhiteDuke said:
