Finally watched the new video on Star Wars.com.

Damn things look sweet!

I'll be watching in a digital theater somewhere in Central Illinois. And its exactly one week after my birthday. (Too bad it wasn't 08/08/08 like I was hoping for).

I'll be lazy and head to the theater that's a 1 minute drive form my house. I'll be lucky to get out anyway. My wife is due with our second child at the end of July. She's going to be mad when I leave her and the kids at home to go to the movies. I'd invite her but then we'd need to pay a babysitter.

Hahaha. I'm just going to take a wild guess about the age or maybe locallity of this fella. Either not in US or Europe and under 20? Although, location can't be an excuse for that one, I think the world has seen it.
After all, Jorbex has seen it! But that's North America.

Actually, 27, Middle of Illinois (thought I did live in Japan for 7 years). And I've seen it. In fact I have a t-shirt on right now that says...

"It's all fun & games until the flying monkeys attack."

I'm sort of sad I didn't get Emerald City from Wizard of Oz, I think I'm going to go and listen to Christopher Lee singing as revenge on myself for such stupidity.

This series is tailor-made for an HD movie theater. If you have a movie theater in your area that has an HD projector, I highly recommend you see it in that venue.

Yeah, that is my plan. I'm going to make sure I can watch it in the best quality possible to man kind in the middle of the cornfields in Central Illinois.

I know lots of places have digital projectors. I know the theater about 3 minutes from my apartment has been showing stuff in 3D (like Hannah Montana, and will show the new U23D).

I caught AOTC in Hartford at the Crown (I think -- check it out DarthFagan) on HD.
Too cool

However, we have no such joy here in LA.

I just finished watching The Clone Wars trailer again from CIV (for what seems like the 100th time, even though I saw it at CIV on the big screen).

Man, I am so pumped up for this series, it's scary. I hope I don't burst from excitement before Aug. 15h rolls around....

haha, i was actually thinking Indianapolis, IN. My budget will be zilch as I will have spent all my cash at Comic-con the previous month. Also, i know for certain they have a digital theater. How long are you guys planning on staying in line? If school hasn't started yet, i'm thinking 2 days minimum, if school has started, i'll leave early that morning for the theater, waiting all day.

Showed my friend the trailer who isn't a crazed fan as I am, and he is thrilled and we have begun talking about the midnight showing.

Hey, already mainstream media is screwing this up.
AoTS on G4 reported it as set between I and II (which seems to be the most common error) and will only feature Tony Daniels from the movie. No mention of Matt Wood as Grevious.
And they're predicting it will surpass Shrek as the boxoffice top animated movie, which even though it's Star Wars, I wouldn't count on. Mainly because it'll be on tv a month later...

I mean, not literally, since Vol. II begins with Phase I armor. But after the Hunt for General Grievous, the armor changes...
These clones wear Phase I armor, Anakin has semi-long hair, and O-B1 has short hair.
