Not it it's coming in the wave with Bespin Leia, ROTJ Boba Fett etc. That is a 2021 wave no?According to Hasbro, The Child that comes with the Razor Crest will have a vac-metalized pram, and apparently the arms (assuming pose) are exclusive to the Haslab. But yeah, they know the Child will sell like hotcakes, so of course it's coming. And it looks like it might be earlier than 2021 if some of the facebook rumors are to be considered (Nov 2020!)
And there's the kicker. I mean if they can sell a TBS version with accessories for $10, what could the TVC version look like at $14? Is the Pram enough to compensate for the $4 difference? More than likely it will for most, while others may still feel it's a bit much. It will be interesting to see the format, whether it's the exact same as the RC version or if there's slightly more to it. After all it's not even close to being like Yoda that can be considered a full figure, BY is basically an accessory itself. Unfortunately the sheer popularity will cause it to be released in multiple formats which could mean overkill. So perhaps deluxe sets aren't the way to go with him. This figure being 3 per case as well as smaller and more expensive than the TBS version I've seen lots of at retail make me wonder how well it'll sell. Hopefully the appeal of Baby Yoda is enough to get the wave restocked, I never saw Yavin Leia at retail and I'm worried Bespin Leia will be in the same boat.
The head/expression is exclusive to the HasLab Razor Crest too apparently.According to Hasbro, The Child that comes with the Razor Crest will have a vac-metalized pram, and apparently the arms (assuming pose) are exclusive to the Haslab. Yep, wave 6. It's already available to preorder at Dorkside and Entertainment Earth for anyone who wants to get these secured now.Not it it's coming in the wave with Bespin Leia, ROTJ Boba Fett etc. That is a 2021 wave no?
The Black Series Baby Yoda was also shipped to stores in cases of 12, but there’s only three per case here. I think he’ll sell better - especially if a pram is included. This figure being 3 per case as well as smaller and more expensive than the TBS version I've seen lots of at retail make me wonder how well it'll sell. The Kuiil pram looks cooler for sure.I will definitely be ordering this figure. Though the pram that comes with the Razor Crest Child figure looks much cooler.
I've wanted that since their reveals but have given up on it happening. All the more reason to include a loose child and jawa along with carded versions in w/ RC
I jokingly mentioned that for all of us that bought the version from TBS while waiting for a TVC release already have an older version of the child. I imagine at some point the character will be written out of the bulk of the future seasons, and might be reoccurring, perhaps if a former Jedi raises the child, and he leaves the Mandalorians care.I'm just curious how fast this species grows, could we be looking at a "Teen" version in Season 3 or 4? I mean if this show does go on for a while that aspect is going to have to be covered, and if we do see an older version it will result in new figures of the character.
Though I wonder if they would do something like that, or try to keep the "cuteness" factor as long as possible in an attempt to those people watching.
Yea they will def write out one of the most popular characters that has major crossover appeal to the casual viewer.I jokingly mentioned that for all of us that bought the version from TBS while waiting for a TVC release already have an older version of the child. As for the figure, I think this set is a much better value for the pricepoint compared to the version they released in TBS. I like the original pram and how weathered it looks. While the vac metalized version from the Razor Crest might be unique to Haslab, I wouldn't be surprised to see it in solid grey with yet another future release. Plus, a grey / silver version is also coming out in Retro, which might be sufficient - after all, how many versions of him do we really need?
It definitely isn't. Wait for the add to cart button to go live any minute now...That is the Amazon UK link
