DAMN! You got a deal on her. I'm still looking for a loose one and she always goes for ridiculous amounts of money on eBay.

My top three based on scupt-accuracy and the figure's ability to hold up next to today's figures...

Just looking at my little R2-B1 in his droid socket makes me think that he is quite possibly the best TPM figure yet!
Love this little droid!
IMO, R2-B1 'could' have been a stand out figure but the omission of the third legs blows it.

For me it's the lack of a third leg AND the shiny chrome dome that blow it.

Which means, time for a re-do in the Saga line, with the R4-G9 mold! Him & R2-R9 need it, so they can join their Royal Cruiser brethren from the EE packs. Just as long as they still have the droid sockets

There were a lot of great figures in this line, and many of them still hold up pretty well today, although slightly lacking in articulation. This was where paint applications really started to shine, as we started seeing a lot of shadows and highlights bringing out details in the sculpts. I remember being very impressed with the way Jar-Jar's skin texture was painted so intricately.

My favorites of the line:

Watto
Anakin Skywalker
Padme Naberrie
Darth Sideous
Destroyer Droid (better than any versions that came after, IMO)
Captain Tarpals
Rune Haako
Obi-Wan (Naboo)
Qui-Gon (Naboo)
Battle Droid (Dirty)
Darth Maul and Qui-Gon from Tatooine Duel 3-pack
TC-14

Alot of us are on the same page here. I agree with many of these being the best, here are my favorites,

1. Qui Gon soft goods
2. Darth Maul soft goods
3. Obi Wan soft goods
4. Watto (Fantastic paint job)
5. Boss Nass (Not very articulated but great sculpt)
6. OOM-9
7. Senator Palpatine
8. Darth Maul Jedi Duel

I thought the POTJ version of Boss Nass was lite year better than the Ep 1 version.

It's quite hard to tell for me, but I think Sio Bibble is the best figure from my point of view.

15 $ I'm quite jealous now ! I mean we here in Germany have to pay at least 30 € (Euros) for one !

I liked the 3 Jedi Duel figures a lot, as well as Naboo Obi and Qui-Gon, Tat Ani, and Darth Sidious.

The Jedi Duel figures were great, for their time. I never did find Naboo Ani, Obi or Qui-Gon, though.

My guess would be Holograph Darth Sidious, Naboo Royal Guard, TC-14 and Captain Panaka were very great figures.

I liked all three "versions" of the main four figures: Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Maul, and Anakin. Qui-Gon would have to be my favorite though. I'm glad we're finally getting an updated one.

For sculpting I'd have to go with what most have already said:

Queen Amidala (Coruscant), Darth Sidious, Nute Gunray and Rune Haako

For action: Darth Maul and his Jedi opponents, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan
