I NEED IT

I wonder if he'll come with any of those extra arm attachments the Hot Toys version came with.

Kinda doubtful but it would be nice.

Meh...Bad Batch...but at least they won't sit around in stores.

While it is cool looking and I'd like to have that particular version, it will likely be a higher priced Exclusive repaint.

Not quite sure why... In the show itself he doesn't use much- helmet, backpack, and pistol. Hunter, Tech and Crosshair came with more stuff and they're standard releases.

Not sure that justifies a more expensive release... unless they do more extras like the additional arm attachments or something.

If they'd shown this Friday they would had had such a better reaction!

Looks like what we'd hoped we'd get but didn't think we would. Great job.

I just noticed he's missing the band of armor around his left bicep. I wonder what thats about.

Also I saw some screenshots of the Panel and saw this-

It looks like there are clasps on the back of the helmet under where his "headphones" go so that it will be able to fit easier on his head.

Incredible looking figure, just a disappointment that he doesn't come with more alternate hand gadgets. Not even a 'normal' hand.

Does he ever use a normal hand replacement on the show?
Nope. (At least as of Season 1) he's never used any modifications to his plug arm. The hand replacement thing appears to be something exclusive with the Hot Toys figure. (Although I think the stream said that they had planned to use an attachment, but it never appeared in the show.)

I hope he gets to use some of the "figure exlcusive" hand options next season. (And just gets more attention in general as he only had a few standout moments in S1...)

They did say that was somethingbthat just never made it.

He was portrayed very differently from how i expected him to be on the show. But to be fair, I didn't feel like any of them got too many big moments aside from Hunter in the first few episodes, really. I liked the show a lot, but no one's personality really came out very much.

Yeah Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair got the lionshare of attention. Tech and Echo didn't have much going on.

Tech was pretty much "Mr Exposition" and lots of typical overly verbose "smart guy" talk, and aside from a few scenes where he put his foot down Echo was the straight man.

Although, me and a few others have noticed some interesting tidbits about his armor. The "double stripe" hairstyle some clones sported (Gree is an example) is apparently done so in memoriam to their fallen brothers. Echo for the most part is a stock clone (in appearance- and until he came back as a cyborg) but all of his "custom armors" have had two stripes on his helmet similar to the hairstyle. His Bad Batch helmet has a raised part very similar to it as well.

Considering that Echo has lost MANY brothers (notably- the entirety of Domino squad) it makes sense for the by-the-book Echo to wear these stripes as opposed to changing his standard issue clone haircut (or LACK of hair for his Bad Batch armor.)

I have zero interest for the show.

But damn, this figure looks EPIC! Very tempting.

However, isn't he also suppose to have a normal robotic hand?

Yeah, like I mentioned in an earlier post- the robotic hand appears to be something exclusive to the Hot Toys figure. Echo hasn't used any sort of arm attachment since he returned as a cyborg in his episodes of the last season of the Clone Wars and in season 1 of The Bad Batch.

thank you for the lore, much appreciated !

Was looking at the images on Dorkside... and I realized that he doesn't have a trigger finger hand.

Ugh, its a minor blemish on a great figure, but jeez Hasbro- why the stinginess to give left weapon holding hands? Especially for the character that only has one hand!

If I'm not mistaken, I think I had to cut the fingers on one of (or both) Tech or Hunter. Definitely had to for Woffe.

Yeah I've done the same thing to a lot of my clones that pack pistols. Rex, Bly, ARC Echo, etc... it just feels like I shouldn't need to.

I guess that's first world problems though lol

He's on my radar with Omega. Not overly impressed with any of the head sculpts, sans Wrecker. Want to round the BB out, and will bite the bullet on him and Omega, but waiting till they are in stock at retail, or fan sites. :)

edit: it's still 50 bucks (USD) before shipping for the pair.... :ROFLMAO:

I agree. It's not like it's a big put-out or anything. It just like "this figure doesn't have extra hands and only comes with two blasters... what else did they want me to put into the left (open-grip) hand?
