First couple of loose images confirming the release of "The Bad Batch" set from The Clone Wars. I'm wondering, though, if they'll actually be from TCW subline, or whether they'll be part of the new TV show Bad Batch subline, since there aren't any boxed images yet.

Yakface is reporting Wrecker is going to be deluxe. Besides being slightly larger I guess I don't see the justification here. No big weapon either. Surely they'll toss Echo in there too right?

There is no justification for deluxe figures other than Hasbro wanting to charge more for a slightly bigger figure.

Plastic is cheap and a similar amount of work goes into designing each figure regardless of size unless it’s a repaint.

I love the exclusives, more valuable, come with a few extra tidbits and always great packaging. Granted I don't like the scalper mark ups but at this point I've purchased most of what I want so I can literally sit back and buy the odd item now.
 
Not bad looking, might get Crosshair. I wish they had left the helmet design alone though, I prefer the old Commando look in that regard. The rest all looks good and at least now that the mold exists for these guys, we might actually see Delta Squad one day. And likely as Gaming Greats repaints.

I don't know why Wrecker is bigger in the first place they're all Clones genetically the same, no logical reason for him to be "bulkier".

This in in context of the deluxe figures that are simply slightly bigger, which Wrecker will likely fall under.

Figures like Zeb and the Mandalorian Heavy honestly don’t really come with anything that justifies the significantly higher price tag.

If they can fit Chewbacca in the basic line, they should be able to fit Zeb. They just do it because they can get away with it.

The clones themselves look good. I was just way underwhelmed with the whole story arc and the characters themselves. I hear there may be another series of stories coming down the road for these 4, but I'm passing. Season 7 of TCW began for me episodes 9-12.
 
Pre-ordered the case, cancelled my Dark Rey case as I thought it may have included these figures :)

I have to agree with you on that, most the episodes seemed like filler along with the most annoying sisters ever created for a story arc just to get Ahsoka in the right place at the right time.
As for the Bad Batch, I didn't mind them but definitely not my favorite. Honestly the only reason why I'm picking up a case is to make sure the Asajj is mint, besides that I'll decide if I'm keeping the other characters.

The Bad Batch are getting their own tv show on Disney+ so we're going to be seeing and learning a lot more about them.

I knew I’d heard something along those lines awhile back. Just hope it’s better than what we got in the 4 season 7 episodes.
 
At least that story arc with the Bad Batch was 100x better than the one with Ahsoka and the sisters.

Honestly, I'm just happy we're going back to the time of The Clone Wars.

Got Crosshair today! Man....effing sweet figure, and another check off the dream-come-true bucket list (well, getting them in TVC or Animated form would be the real dreams at this point, but right now, I'm not complaining!)

Noooot particularly happy with the likeness though. There's should be some hint of Tem Morrion's/ Jango Fett's likeness in all their faces. The animation makes that clear, so I don't know why they weren't able to translate that to the realistic style. Any how, I showed the figure to my wife, who both watched and enjoyed the premiere with me, and she said "Oh...it's the a**hole from the cartoon!" Lol. They at least got his essence right.
 
I just now realized, after viewing the press images, that his rifle comes apart and stows on his back pack! LOL, like I said, I wasn't really planning on picking these up so I really didn't pay much attention to them. Too cool!

Also, working range finders are always a win in my book and it's actually pretty integral to this character.

I'm still waiting on an Ed Harris figure to get made so I can make Kal Skirata!

Heh, indeed. 😉

Vau, IIRC, is supposed to be very tall and slender, with a long, narrow, archetypical "aristocratic" face and grey hair, and the Crosshair headsculpt fits that description rather nicely. The scar over his eye could even be a nobleman's dueling scar. 😁

I just noticed this guy must have taken a shelf dive recently. On closer inspection while trying a new pose it seems like the right leg is longer than the left on mine. Anyone else with this problem? I checked my Hunter and he looks ok, maybe I just got a dud. The thigh armor seems to be set lower on one side than the other...

Crosshair was the last of the Bad Batch I needed to complete the gang, and EE/Hasbro cancelled my order today. Anybody looking to sell one, please let me know! Thanks everyone.
 
I saw this earlier and I was floored. Not that EE cancelled. They've canceled a bunch of my orders for no reason. I didn't realize so many people still had this guy preordered. I got mine from a Hasbro Pulse preorder, so I figured I was the very last person to get him.
 
Yeah I just missed him the first time around, and re-ordered on EE a while back. Lots of other figures got cancelled today too, including Hunter. Wrecker I purchased late too, but at only $11! I’m guessing Hasbro is see how poorly he and Omega are selling, and canceling Hunter and Crosshair as a consequence.

Where is Omega selling poorly? The only figure from that wave that seems to show up anywhere is The Client.
