Targets in Minnesota are getting wave 1 as of 8/12/13.
hahaha, a stripped down sandtrooper is not a stormtrooper.....they are still differentI just found all four figures at my local Target in Phoenix, AZ. Sadly I passed up two of them, Darth Maul and R2. Luke and Sandtrooper are just way too cool. Darth Maul I really wanted but the paint jobs on both faces were off, I'm hoping I'll find a better one. And R2, I'm just not that impressed after reading the reviews and seeing the pics. First thing I did when I opened up my Sandtrooper is strip him of his Tatooine gear to make him a basic trooper. He's perfect both ways! Not sure where this line is going or how long it will be around, but I want more!
I know that, but it's the closest thing available right now.hahaha, a stripped down sandtrooper is not a stormtrooper.....they are still different
the black series arent pegged, they are loose on the shelf, so look for a shelf tagAccording to that Target link above, the Target by me has them in stock. I swung by and they weren't on display, and I didn't know the DCPI so I left. There aren't any pegs labeled for the Black Series.
Went to the nearest K-Mart and they had one full set so I got the Sandtrooper there. I know it's very early in this series, but you can't buy what isn't out, so Target's loss is K-Mart's gain.
Interesting. There wasn't any blank shelf space, other things were there, but that doesn't mean there can't be a tag where the other stuff was.the black series arent pegged, they are loose on the shelf, so look for a shelf tag
Yeah every Target I've been too has them labeled on the shelf below. Check to be sure because most times there IS something else in its place if there is no stock on the shelf.the black series arent pegged, they are loose on the shelf, so look for a shelf tag
Spotted these in target outside Williamsport PA. I've got a set so maybe someone close could grab em

They've been out a week or so. The next wave isn't due for 3 months. I think it might be a little early to jump to ebay.you suck lol...i think i will have to resort to ebay sadly
That's what she said. (sorry, had to be done)I've got a set so maybe someone close could grab em

hiYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grin:That's what she said. (sorry, had to be done)
Exactly how I've been feeling! After reading so much negative feeling towards the lines, I figured they would be easy to score.....I was terribly wrong. So much for so many collectors NOT buying The Black Series, MS, and Legends.
I couldn't look Hasbro in the eye as I gave them $20 for that sloppy artoo. Hopefully it's not as shoddy as I've been hearing. Now...about that X-wing...I found the three I wanted (sorry R2, you're not worth 20 bucks) at Target. I was checking the store about every night (it's on my way home). The first time I saw them they had Luke and R2 (bought Luke), and R2 stuck around for a couple days. Second time they had Luke and Maul (bought Maul), and the third time they had the Sandtrooper and another R2 (bought Sandy). I never saw them have more than 2 of the 6" figures out at a time. I always scanned them to see if there were more in the stockroom but there never were. So either they've gotten several cases and I've been lucky in being able to find the ones I want, or they've only gotten 2 or 3 cases total and they don't out full cases all at once.
Either way, Target seems to be the best place to find these so far.
Case pack is 4, so it is possible that the case is put out and someone bought 1 or 2... watching the local stores with the link to the DPCI (087-06-1941) there seems to be a pretty steady flow into the stores once they sell out. My closest store went from in stock to out of stock (and into my car!) after 3 days it was in stock again...I found the three I wanted (sorry R2, you're not worth 20 bucks) at Target. Wouldn't it be easier to just write it down on a piece of paper and keep it in your wallet? If you cannot remember the DPCI, remember this... all star wars in the toy section start with 087-06... try to remember the year 1941!

dont bother going to walmart, they dont carry the 6" series, also, most stores seem to be getting in 1 case at a time so pickings will be slimI was a little late to the game on these. I don't collect "modern" figures (this is my first one!), but I saw a few of these on Ebay a couple days ago and they caught my eye, so I've been doing a little reading on the Black series line here and wanted to see one in person.
Anyway, I stopped by the Target today in Green Bay (Ashwaubenon), WI, and got the very last 6" X-Wing Luke; they were out of stock already on the others. I'm going to swing by the local TRU and Walmart later today, I'll post in the appropriate threads on those.

Yeah, I just got back, oh well. Both the local walmart & TRU had nothing in the 3.75 line either. I guess I'll consider myself lucky to get the Luke X-wing pilot, its the one I wanted the most, and it was pretty cool I got the last one.
