Such a great display piece, AND its modular so you can add and configure them...I like the way they are taking this line more serieously!
Rebel Fleet Trooper is a nice bonus too...
 
As I've already commented in two other threads i'll keep it brief here. Definitely a nice looking set and I will likely get one for sure, as it looks to like it could be turned into a neat bookend set on a shelf! Though since I'm not the biggest fan of this particular scenes or ship in general I don't plan to get too caught up in the craze for it, as I've said I probably would have preferred a Yoda Hut or Hoth related items but it doesn't take anything way from this set as it it very cool.

The brilliance of it is the fact that it can be made much larger, and I hope in a few different combinations not just one linear design or a simple square.
Once i have this in hand I may very well decide to add more sets, if it's still available that is.
 
I pre-ordered 2 on Pulse. If I can snag a deal I will probably get a 3rd. This is something I have been looking into this year with some 3rd party offerings. But, this Hasbro one now is really the best bang for your buck.

I posted this pic on the other thread, but I think it's worth posting here. It shows what 3 could look like and you see in better detail how it's constructed as you can see how the wall looks from the back and how the doors connect to the wall in different spots.

This is my favorite sans the back corridor. You'd need a long bookshelf to display this configuration though.

I think I'm in for 2 sets (already got one ordered) and I'll grab a few extra RFT from Tunghori or something

Dang this picture makes me want 3... That looks awesome! Gonna stick with 1 for now though, doubt I'd have a shelf big enough for this config.
 
The more I look at this, the more an updated Captain Antilles TVC figure NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Dude is in both movies!

But alas this is being marketed as Rogue One first with the Vader connection.
 
I am quite happy with this set. I preordered two.

I do wish one side of one of the doorways featured "blasted open" battle damage so we had that option for display. I also would have liked a little more detail (or just a disguising black coat of paint) on the back of the hallway backdrop to hide the inverted details if we are supposed to use both sides.

But those are just quibbles and easily handled ones at that. Since I bought two I will have an extra doorway to beat up at my leisure...and fixing the back should be a fun project as well...
 
looks nice and glad to see it coming to walmart so hopefully another clearance find in the future :)
 
As I salivated over the images on Pulse, I ended up opening each image up individually in its own tab on my computer to zoom in as much as possible. From what I can gather it seems like the wall is 1 piece, the floor is 1 piece, and then we get 2 doors as separate pieces. I could be wrong, but that's what it seems to me upon closer inspection of the images.

What do you guys think? And, I'm on the fence about pulling the trigger on a 3rd one already! 😁

Fantastic set! Hasbro Pulse is pre-sold out, but I placed an order for two from Dorkside. I'll keep one of the troopers carded and add the other one to my ranks when they came out before. I can't remember if I kept one of those carded or not.
 
I have to wait and see how I am going to rebuild my collection. Because if I do go loose/graded then I might have to buy two for any ANH figures I get. :unsure:

Dumb question but do we know if the packaging will be VC STAR WARS or STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE? I get the Rebel Fleet Trooper will be R1 but I hope the hallway set is packaged in vintage STAR WARS! Either way I’ll get one (or five) but just a preference!

Mav pointed out that the wall seems to be two separate pieces, which allows the wall boxes to be reconfigured. A nice touch.

ETA: This playset seems to be remarkably well thought-out by Hasbro. Along with everyone else I'd love to see some new figs tied to this one. Dreaming of a Tantive IV three-pack with Antilles, Leia, and an Imperial officer.

Four on pre-order.

Yes this is what i was picturing, although it will set a person back almost $150 for basically walls. It does lack a certain completeness to it and i feel there definitely need to be new additions later on to expand on the basic look/idea. I'm guessing the gray flaps on the back would represent the dark corridor Leia was in giving it to R2.

I also agree they should have found a way to incorporate the round doors in somehow, or perhaps that will come with a later alternate set.

Tantive IV
Rouge 1 aka inside calemari ship
Rebels rotj war room (inside calemari ship)
Possible Bespin wall extension (not movie accurate but it could work)
Various Rebels series set ups
Senator Bail Organna's ship
Similar enough to the Mandolorian prison ship
I'm sure the panels were used in other sw series scenes
 
It just occurred to me that while this is a repack of the original TVC Fleet Trooper, they could have taken the opportunity to include the holster this time. So once again, I will need to track down a Saga Endor Luke and steal the belt.
 
I bought 2. Cheaper than star walls. I crap all over Hasbro when they do stupid things. But reward them when they do something right with a full price sale. But then again, isn't that how customer/company relationships should work? Now make Fleet troopers a smart repack....

I'm so torn on the Fleet Trooper inclusion. On one hand it makes sense because if you're the guy buying 3 or 4 of these, you don't want 3-4 non-army builder figures.

But if you want more Fleet Troopers, and most including myself will, it's now only available in a $50 set.

So where I want 1-2 sets tops and want 5+ Fleet Troopers, I'm SOL unless I get lucky with Tunghori on ebay.

Tunghori overcharges nowaday. Ive bought some at fair prices but they always have flaws. He is now asking msrp or better for figs like mando. The 36 bucks for a raider is obsurd. They need to make army builder packs.
