Exactly what I thought, and now that you mentioned to have had a similar situation, it seems it occasionally happens. The funny thing is that when we were selling our first home a couple of years ago, one of the people that came to see it walked in my collection room and was surprised to see all the Star Wars collectibles. I remember the lady saying: Wow! That is a lot of stuff. You've probably spent like $200 on it. Considering I've been collecting since '95 from action figures to high end collectibles and props, her estimation on the value of my collection sounded extremely low. My wife and I just looked at each other like: What?! Obviously the lady was someone with no idea of what she was looking at, and I guess the person writing over the prototype Stormtrooper card felt there was no real collectible value, just a toy. It's frustrating to see a perfectly good card get damaged, but we are really the few and we are a "crazy" bunch that sets value and feelings on plastic little guys, and most people just do not understand their importance to some of us. Oh, well. That's life.
