Let start with a dewback.
I had a POTF2 dewback in bad condition (the horn of the saddle was broken, the reins were missing and some pen marks were on the saddle). I thought it was a great opportunity to improve it by making the creature as accurate as possible from the movie (Episode 4, A new Hope).
I always thought that the POTF2 version was the best Hasbro toy for the dewback. The SAGA version is too long and too massive.
The modifications are described below:
I made new reins with addition of white parts and also rings near the mouth.
I made the pommel of the saddle with special fabric covering two screws inserted in the dewback.
I repainted the saddle and all straps already sculpted on the Hasbro creature
I created a "seat saddle" to be added on the sculpted saddle and did not forget to add stirrups. It is an accessory never made on the existing toys. I added magnets to fix the seat on the dewback.
I made the four satchels from fabric taken from chair legs protections.
I sculpted and painted fur on the neck top.
The sandtrooper comes from the SAGA dewback.
