Starspeeder 1000 Star Tours Vehicle

As someone lucky enough to get the 3000 version, I'll be passing on this.

But it looks amazing and I'm delighted (but not remotely surprised) that they made this repaint and hopefully all those that want it will be able to get their hands on it.

Great job, Disney!

I wonder what scenes will play in the screen? Hopefully the all-too-rare Geonosis scene will make an appearance!
 
I'd be leary due to as many faulty electronic ones they sent out on the 3000 and would not replace. I'm sure they did the 1000, w/ repainted body, different pilot figure, and different audio so those that got broken ones last year couldn't buy a new one now and send back the defective one
 
I'm happy with my original from 2012? which is still really awesome. I pray to G that those figures are A) not new, and B) don't come carded.

They look like standard BAD.

So you won't be getting it, but you hope that, for the people that are getting it, it is inferior in quality.

Keep it classy.
 
^ i think they meant it as so they would not miss out on anything "new" - yeah, worded odd, but still.
. R2 in 3000 set was bad and uncarded. Rex was new and came carded and loose. That was the best thing, sadly
 
Well, regardless…I’m glad to see the predictions of this being repainted into the 1000 came to fruition! I knew it would when they 3000’s videos were set to random order.

I’m down for one. I have two 3000s, and the smaller 1000 (which I will maintain is just a smaller local flight shuttle). Hoping everyone who wants one can get one this time around! And they should be in the parks after this too!!!
 
When I acquired the 3000 version at D23, I paid $300. I would expect a similar price or possibly a little less. No sure if the D23 exclusive 1000 version had a marked up price since it was exclusive to the Fan Convention.

I guess will find out soon.

Refreshed the page for the D23 version like crazy to no avail last time. Really hope this one is easier to get, though the first version with Captain Rex is still wildly alluring.

Populated with random aliens, this is a be-all-end-all 3.75” Star Wars item for me IMO.
 
They’ve not provided those numbers (or a price) yet. I’m guessing this will be the standard release, which will also be available at the parks.
 
My order for the 3000 went through and tracking literally sat for over a week with no movement before Disney refunded me. It either never actually shipped or my order went through some glitch. It was so infuriating.

I would never pay Ebay prices for the 3000 because of some of the LCD screen issues that were being reported by some on the Disney Store website reviews. So here's hoping that mine will actually ship and that those issues were resolved.
 
So with the 3po mold coming out of retirement, sort to speak, what could the chance be for that mold to be used for future holiday droids? Heck, use Use the D3 mold too

I have been in the queue since 9:34, and this kind of thing stresses me out so bad.
 
LOL! I had no idea Disney uses 56k modems to run their site. I didn't realize there's a wait list to shop online. Not planning to buy this park vehicle, but was interested in the mouse droid and Droid pack.
 
Got the Starspeeder, Mousedroid, and BOBF Droid pack!

Got in line at 9:34 and was #4850.

My wife got in line around 9:40 and was #24668!!! Absolutely crazy.

Does anyone have any idea of the differences between this and the 3000 version yet? I was hoping someone may have picked this (and a mouse droid) from one of the parks would have posted some details.

I managed to snag the 3000 from the Disney UK online store, but I'm still on the fence on picking up the mouse droid.
 
Ordered. Thought it might have been matched to the price of the 3000. Oh well. But to wait till September! Crud.

Looking forward to it!
