Here is a collection of the Star Wars figures hanging in my cabinet in my basement "man-cave". I have accumulated this collection over many years (decades really) and it has provided a great deal of enjoyment over that time. There is a lot of sweat equity and patience in this collection. Needless to say, the prototypes don't come easy. There are five remaining Droids and Ewoks prototypes and first draft of Zuckuss and EV-9D9 left to bring the collection to completion. I would like to thank Tom Derby in helping bring this collection to where it is today.

I was not yet 3 years old when Star Wars first released in the summer of 1977 but seeing it for the first time (a double viewing no less) marks as, quite literally, the first memory of my entire life. I remember my family rushing out to the local TG & Y when we heard rumors of the release of the first figures in early'78 & I remember buying the last POTF figures on severe discount at Kaybee when I was 11 years old in early '86.

Like the rest of our lives, Star Wars has had its great years, its lean years and its bad years. Still, with maybe the exception of Jar Jar, I wouldn't have it any other way.:)

I have included a photo of my family as well.

Best-

Bryce

Very nice collection. It does look you spent a lot of time putting it together. Do you have LED lights in the cabinet?
Is the wicket a prototype figure?

Thanks for the grand showing!

Man I wish they would have done the luke jedi robes, he is bad ***!

Great collection and I think you and I live near each other, we should hook up sometime?

Amazing collection, I'm envious! I'd be willing to bet walking into your "man-cave" puts a huge smile on your face every time you look at that wall.

Thanks for sharing!

Amazing collection you have put together! It gets my vote for Limelight of the year

Welcome to RS, thanks for sharing your amazing collection to the rest of the community, and please don't be a stranger, we want to hear more about those unique pieces that you have, like the prototypes and the UDE figures :).

Man... That has to be some of THE best cabinets Iv ever seen. You have some truly beautiful items there. The bald head Emperor Hard Copy is without a doubt my favourite item in your display. Thanks for sharing the pics with the rest of us mortals.

Wow!!! Thanks for sharing! That is an utterly amazing figure collection. Just love the display as well.

Beautiful collection, so many jaw dropping pieces in one spot!

Have to say that Luke in Robes would have to be one of the nicest sculpts I've seen on a vintage figure. Must've been disappointing for the Kenner artist/s responsible to not see it come to fruition as a production figure.

Thanks for sharing.

Bryce, thats breath taking mate, the Gargan and luke in robes are just incredible as too are all your pieces, once in a while a very special limelight thread like this shows up, im sure your collection will be a talking point for a long time.
Congrats and thanks for sharing your magic collection, one of the finest if not the finest ive ever seen.
cheers

That just may be the nicest collection I've seen in my young collecting career :) thanks for sharing. Ridiculous...

Ive never heard/seen of the bald emperor prototype, anyone know the story around that one?

Wow. Just wow. I could only dream of having even one of those.

I just had to come n have another look lol, ive never seen so many high end grails in the one spot at the one time, Bryce the effort to get those together must have been huge, have you got one or two that you treasure more than the rest?
I mean the Gargan, luke, emperor, rocket fett, headman, the red and white carded Bib fortunas, just frigging epic mate, the Gargan is my favourite, just really enjoy seeing your pics, thanks.

That's some epic stuff,,,hate how the plastic gets in the way but still thats some pretty amazing stuff.

Wow!!!! That Gargan is fantastic and Luke In Robes are amazing! Thanks for sharing. You have an amazing collection there. I keep coming back and taking a peek!

This collection is just insane! Jaw-dropping, to say the least. Are the other AFA'd figures (IE: Wicket, Anakin, etc.) just regular production pieces?

Simply amazing pieces all museum worthy.

Vlix looks a bit common and regular to the rest of your figures and you can't say that about many collectors collections, shows how unique your collection is.

Thanks for sharing
