Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried other figures in the seats?

I'm curious if the sequel trilogy figures in pilot garb will fit, or if their chest boxes are too big for the seat harness.

Same question for TIE pilots.

I went to Home Depot tonight for a few things, while I was there I picked up a PVC plumbing pipe for the Snowspeeder to use as a stand. One of the side landing gears would sometimes fold in even if I slightly moved the ship. I remember the POTF2 A-wing and Y-wing having faulty landing gears. I'm not saying this had faulty landing gears, but I just wanted to play it safe. I spay painted it black. It was not even 50 cents. It's nothing special, but a nice cheap alternative.

Poe Dameron/Resistance X-Wing Pilot is a no-go. He's too bulky in the arms, legs, and chest. He can barely contort into the cockpit at all.

The First Order TIE Pilot likewise is a little too big. It will fit but only one harness strap will hold.

The Imperial TIE Pilot has the same issue as the FO TIE Pilot but is a little closer in size to Luke, so it fits the cockpit better.

And if you detach the hoses you can thread the harness beneath them.

This is what I'm thinking of. It's a paper towel holder that I use for my helmets. This was just a test and they're both just balancing on there atm.

You need a contained display shelf/cabinet. Something which can be closed. It's hard to display anything without one, if you have a cat.

I got 6 cats that get free range of the house and unless it's the floor level shelf they leave it alone. Even then the floor level stuff is just when they chase each other around.

Oh, he's a good little gremlin most of the time. And he loves to help build lego sets.

And he does tend to leave things alone, he just occasionally bumps things when he conducts his inspections of the collection.

Technically, if you want to secure the Snowspeeder the bottom can be taken off by removing all of the screws from below. Then, once the bottom is out, you could screw it down onto the display, then put it back together and screw the bottom back on from below.

But then how will I swoosh it around the office when the students aren't looking?

I mean, not that I've ever done that or anything.
