I have been saving my money up for this figure for months now,it doesn't come out until next year but I did reserve one with the cape.Do those of you out there who have seen this item or to those of you that own Sideshow items think it will be worth my money or should I possibly cancel my order? I only have pictures to go on and so many other cool stuff is coming out that I'm just not sure what to do. The money is burning a hole in my pocket! Thanks for any input! Bill

Bill, I personally saw this piece at Celebration III and it is breathtaking. IMHO, it's worth every penny!

I was having this discussion the other day about this piece, I saw it at C3 and to be honest with you it is completely breath taking. The pose with all the four arms extended in attacking position is awesome. Sideshow has been improving more and more everytime with each one of their pieces (not only Star Wars).
So in my opinion just wait you will be completely impressed once you get yours.

OH [censored] YEAH IT's WORTH IT.

Seriously, I saw this at CIII. And up until then, the only things in life I spent good money on was home entertainment equiptment, jewelry for the Mrs., and baby gear. I tell you this, if you only buy 1 more star wars item the rest of your life, you want this baby!

End.

If you like the character, I'd definitely buy this piece. You're lucky that you nabbed one of the exclusive versions with the cape - he looks funny without it. Buy it! If you ever decide you don't want it, it should only go up in value, more than likely. So at least you can sell it for a good chunk of change.

The Attakus Grievous looks very nice as well.

yup. DO IT! (read starsky and hutch)

i got 2. one with and one without the cape. i will sell the one without the cape.

i also got 2 vaders. 1 to keep and 1 to sell. figure the ones i sell can help offset the price a bit.

SS is becoming a force to reckon with. thats why my collection only features, SS, Attakus and MR. nothing else. and im broke...lol...i wonder why?

I agree with Mike... seeing it in person convinced me to keep my order. The cape makes a whole difference on this piece.

Well, maybe you'd have more $$ if you just bought one of each statue.

hey (censored), before you call me a scalper, youd need to understand how i ended up with 2, you BUFFOON. it wasnt my intention to buy more than i needed. but i dont have to explain myself to you, you obviously got it all figured out. i love how people are so fast to open their pie holes and condem people without even asking a single question.

I thought I'd raise some hell

Well, the way I read your post, it sounds like you buy 1 to keep and 1 to sell for more than what you paid for it so, you cut the price of the 1 you plan to keep.
Is that not a scalper??
If I'm wrong, I apologize.

OK, I saw how much you're asking for the Vader.
I apologize for jumping to that conclusion.

let me clarify. that vader for sale is the GG vader. i paid 180 shipped, and thats what i want to sell it for.

the other vader i spoke of was the Sideshow vader that isnt out yet. I placed and order with my "dealer" and then had to cancel after she ordered from Sideshow. So, i didnt want to shaft her, so i switched up my order as to keep the business with her and not complicate things. i dont want 2 vaders. and i dont want 2 Grievous'. i will put them on ebay for what i paid for them. im not trying to lose any money by helping people out.

Buying an extra to sell isn't all that bad. It's when you're using other people's credit cards to hoard 5, 10 or more of some exclusive "1 per person" item so you can resell them on eBay that you become a pathetic loser.
