I really miss many of my old "favorite threads" that was lost with the new forum. I've forgot many of my favorite ones, and some I just can't find.

So here's a thread for you to ask for threads that you had bookmarked, and you guys that was smart enough to make separate bookmarks of your favorites, share them here.

Heres some of my favorites which I've managed to find with a quick search:

http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1001023/

http://forum.rebelscum.com/t807015/

http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1024359/

Many of my favorite threads where prototype related and contained a lot of great information. Threads about carded samples, first 12 first shots, HC's vs FS, mock-ups etc etc.

So which old threads do you think everyone should bookmark and read?

I can't believe this was almost FIVE years ago!

I know, doesn't seem like it's been that long. Just goes to show you never know what will show up even today. I believe this was about the same time that the early mock-up photos surfaced... good year!

Great thread Mattias! I have the perfect companion your 'Figure Molds In The Ocean' thread.

Here's another thread on the same subject, with a great comment by one of our ex-Kenner members on what became of the old molds, and how he knows...

Vintage Kenner Figure Molds - What Happened ??

I love the thread about the guy that found the vintage Ugnaught at some Mom and Pop Shop Convenience Store somewhere in the South. Swore up and down that his story was real and when asked to show proof, he posted a badly doctored receipt and pics of the figure. MAN THAT WAS CLASSIC TROLLING! Hands down the BEST!!!

"Polish Snowtrooper Outing" and "Alotofnunb rare figures"

How do you edit the hyperlink to these?
That Polish trooper thread cracks me up everytime I read it. Turns into a total **** storm. Dirty laundry getting aired everywhere. It really is quite something. Watching everyone turn on each other had me rolling on the floor laughing my **** off. And some of the one liners by people. Just too funny.

Great thread with links to all these great threads from the past, please keep 'em coming. I thing this thread should be made sticky, as it contains link to many great discussions and to valuable information.

Figured it was time to bump this again. Especially since we just entered 2013 and there's been some great threads over the last year.

Here's a couple more of my favorites:

http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1084393/ (always will be fun to see the sheer amount of collector-to-collector giveaways)

http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1068695/ (any thread that can get some of the "old timers" posting again deserves a plug)

Hello Mods,

Could this thread be made a sticky at the top of one of the vintage threads please. There are so many good topics highlighted in one thread that it would be a shame for them to disappear.

Thank you

Agreed, on a mountain biking forum im on we have a 'WTF The best of MTBR' its a great thread, it where people can put up all the funny, best of, flame wars, ridiculous and wtf threads, its a real winner.

This thread has got great potential, and would make a great sticky, so please mods, come to the party on this one.
Cheers n thanks.

I loved that thread too. My fav part was when the last guy did a paint program receipt for the yak....OMG!! I was in tears when I saw that. What a joker that OP was in reference to that original thread.

I need help identifying 1977 darth vader variant? Metallic gray head and cape please help

Hello, I am new to rebel scum , as a member at least. I am hoping someone could help me identify this 1977 Darth Vader figure I have. It has a gray metallic head and cape. The cape seems to be of better quality than the average 12 back Vader as it is more flexible and feels better in quality. In the picture the Vader I need help with is going to be on the right of each picture and the same goes for the cape. Thanks so much guys

You might want to open a new thread in this same vintage section, and not post in your old favorite thread... You will have better luck getting an answer. If you want to post pics, you have to use a photo hosting app like photobucket... Its sort of a pain but not too bad.

Ok thanks for your help. I'm really hoping someone can help me out with this 1977 DARTH Vader figure I have, it has a metallic gray head and cape. The cape is more flexible and seems to be of nicer quality.would you happen to know anything about this? It's not one of the gray head variants I'm pretty sure of that. I'm wondering if it is a figure that maybe got packaged when it was supposed to have been put in the screw up pile.
