Now that Hasbro have revealed Prince Xizor and a new Shadows Of The Empire subgroup for the Black Series. What other figures would you like to see in this line?

Oh boy, Dash is the one I'm really invested in and I'm very stoked he's confirmed. Curious to see which look they go with, since IIRC he was sometimes clean-shaven and sometimes bearded.

On a nostalgic level, I'd like to see Chewbacca in disguise, just for the weird 90s excess of it. Hoping we don't do too many figures that could fit somewhere else (back in the POTF2 days SOTE was used to release versions of Vader, Boba Fett, and IG-88, none of which need to be in this line).

I'd say decent odds they do SOTE Leia, since she got a 3.75" back in the comic pack days, though the outfit isn't especially interesting I feel like and actually they might not want to draw attention to that particular sequence.

Also sleeves vs no sleeves. The game didn't have sleeves but the figure (and I think the comic) did have sleeves.

Am I wrong or did they say SOTE is NOT a subseries on its own but Xizor marks the beginning of a replacement for the "book-boxes" publishing line. With the already kind-of confirmed figures I wouldn't expect a huge SOTE set of obscure characters after, though.

Would love to see Guri, Leebo and Chewie as Snoova ( I can never have enough bounty hunters 🤪🤣 )

the color going by each movie, tv show, etc. was a mistake. I would have done by Trilogy - TCW(movie + series) Legends(novels, video games, comics) - Disney+ - 'a star wars story' ie Disney movies. You would still keep the specific source on the box, The Phantom Menace, A New Hope, The Mandalorien, etc.

Film/tv/games/print might have been a route to go too.

The mural art is cool, but the subset numbers at this point really seem to just serve as them saying "we'll make anything if we can put it in a Mandalorian-themed box".

Guri, Leebo and Jex or I riot.
I've got a strong feeling that TBS will definitely get them before TVC, if I'm using Jaxxon and Joruus as an indicator. Xizor does look absolutely fantastic! That said, I'll not be getting it due to getting out of TBS line.

My only hope is that Dash, as well as Leebo if done sells very well so that it might compel Hasbro to scale them down to 3.75" scale!

Their statement was somewhat less definite. To quote from the presentation: “This is our first mainline Publishing item. So we’re starting a new color collection here: the purple on this one inspired by those original Shadows of the Empire cardback figures from back in the ‘90s.”

So really, 🤷‍♀️. The spiel on the Pulse website does make it sound like a SOTE will have its own subline. But, at this point, it’s anyone’s guess what will happen with other Publishing figures.

To me, that sounds like figures from Publishing/literature will just be fair game going forward for mainline slots.

Also, since they specified a Color for SOTE, do we take that as 'other stories will also get figures and be different colors'? Or just that Publishing figures will get this color that they picked, too?

So no love for Chewie in bounty hunter disguise?

Thats how I understood it, purple being the general color for "Publishing", replacing the book-boxes.
Like Gaming Greats, one color for multiple titles.
Its just a well placed coincidence, they took Xizor for the first one and purple ended up also being a homage to the old 3,75 SOTE figures.

I could be all wrong, though, we'll see soon enough I guess
