SH Figuarts Indiana Jones (Raiders of the Lost Ark)

I got an order in for $63. Glad I was patient and didn’t go with one of the import sites.
 
By the time I saw the post they were sold out at that price on Amazon. I’m confused with my amiami order. I keep getting emails saying I need to pay by the 6th otherwise the order will be canceled and I’m just like ummm, you have my payment information, what more am I supposed to do??? So we’ll see if I actually get this or not.

You have to log in and confirm your payment. There should be a link to do so in the email that they send you.

Yeah, I tried doing that because I have to update my credit card as the expiration date changed and it didn’t give me a place to do that so I just changed it to PayPal and then I thought that was it but then a couple days later I got a thing saying I need to approve the payment. So I went and tried to change it back to the cc and update it but it wouldn’t let me so I went back to pp and it was like since you changed the payment method you have to wait for an updated shipping quote and I’m like just take my money!!!!

Hmm...that's weird. I had to update my CC info as well, it took me a minute to figure that out, but it now says "Processing shipping (paid)" so I think I am good. First time ordering from them, but my mom used to order from them all the time so I know they are reputable.
 
Please post lots and lots and lots of photos when these arrive. I’m very interested in this figure!!!
 
@Billy_Ray Looks great, thanks for posting pics. If you get a chance, can you post a pic of this next to the Hasbro Indy? I know this one is gonna look much better but I'd love to see a side-by-side comparison.

Awesome shots, thanks for that. Yeah, I'm not saying the Hasbro Indy is bad, it's pretty good I think. Considering the Hasbro figure could be had at Target for a discount price of less than eight bucks, it's a very solid figure. But the Figuarts one is outstanding.
 
I finally got to spend some time with this guy today. Man I love this figure!

One thing that bothered me was the whip handle. I straightened it out with the old hot water trick. Swapping out the arms is a little bit fiddly too. Sorry the pics aren't that great...it finally decided to rain here so the lighting wasn't that great.
 
Handle looks SO much better straightened out! Steel spikes don't bend!!

I'll be doing that to mine as well.
 
When I check ami ami it says it’s been paid for but it’s waiting for shipping to process. But it’s said that for like a week now. I got an email from PayPal saying that it was paid for. I have no clue if I’m actually going to be getting this or not.

You should be good, mine said that for a while too before they shipped it.
 
Looks great. I ordered one, but man are these figures pricey.

It absolutely blows away the Hasbro version, which I would argue is the worst figure in the entire line all things considered. The weird paint apps seem to ruin the likeness, the belt and accessories are terrible. It turned me off to collecting this line when I saw that figure but thankfully the figures that came after it are much better.
 
I spent a hundred bucks on it. Should've just waited I guess, but it was still worth it.

I was tempted to get it overseas from AmiAmi this week, which would've run me around $80 or so. Just as I was getting ready to pull the trigger I got an email price alert so jumped on the cheaper option. Only downside is it won't arrive until the first week of January - it just shipped a few hours ago. AmiAmi would've had it to me by next week.

Have anyone tried to make a custom neck peg to put in order to have the figuarts'head to fit perfectly onto the Hasbro's body using a 3d printer?
