I'll be getting him. I hope he at least comes with another blaster.
Didn't give Hasbro one cent for FA 3.75" but I'm down for all 6" BS...especially troopers!

The guys who pose and photograph these figures arent doing the merchandise any favours eeeeeh. Looks like a 5 POA figure there. Comparisons are odious of course, but if you compare this shot to the ones released by bandai two days ago ...

Of all the new designs, this trooper has to be my fav. Can't wait for this.
Does look great! And I appreciate how the design forced Hasbro to use some paint.

The kama. There seem to be some paint variance between troopers as well (link).

Hope they make the trooper too. Hope it's not in a 2 pack with a named character, if so commander should have been 2 packed.
Really tempted to get 2 troopers and one commander provided the trooper is obtainable. This guy looks way better than the Death Trooper.

I dig the look of the Scarif troopers and the white / black troopers as well. More I see them the more I'm leaning towards these over the Death troopers, more to look at color wise than just a black super tie trooper in my opinion that's what the DT reminds me of.

I agree, this guy looks way cooler than the standard, generic all-black "kewl" Death Trooper. He has a great vintage McQuarrie feel to him. I'll pick up both, but I'm hoping this guy isn't Maul or Boba Fett level difficult to find.
He looks like a Bomb Pop. Bomb Pop trooper.

I see the McQuarrie look that you mentioned Sith_rising, that's probably a big reason I really like this trooper. One of my favorite concepts was of the McQuarrie snow trooper and I kinda see that in this.
This is a cool looking trooper, its just occured to me that he looks a lot like this one

Agreed. The trooper needs a single-carded release. I'd be ok with one coming in a two-pack, if a single carded release was scheduled as of wave 4. Maybe the commander will be a TRU exclusive like the FO snowtrooper commander and we'll see a regular release in the basic line.
Does anyone know when is this figure scheduled for release?

Someone on instagram posted that they found Wave 8 at a Walmart in San Diego a couple hours ago.
