Yay for those who wanted it. Not my thing, though.
Really excited to get this. It finally includes the right scanner box!

I am actually a bit annoyed by this news. I am happy the scanning box is finally coming, but I was reluctant to buy ONE figure to get the box/kit, but it turns out I have to buy 2! Maybe I'll paint one tunic black?

Whereas I will most likely be army building this two pack heavily and swapping heads with other army builders.
Hopefully the figures will be the new 5 points of articulation style and not those awful out-dated super articulated ones.
It's fine but kind of anticlimatic now. And we only needed one more, not two more.
There are two sets of these, one has a stormtrooper, the other an Imperial officer.

Ooh thats really interesting. Where did you get that from? I really hope the part of the scanning box comes with the Imperial Officer. I bet its Motti.

Good idea! It would be awesome if it was the Scanning Crewman figure, but with a black tunic. That would be amazing, that figure badly needs an update.
Hopefully no SG tunic too.
No I dont mean a "regular" Imperial Officer. I mean the "jumpsuit" one like, the POTJ release (same as Scanning Crewman, but black).
Like the two guys in the Endor bunker. Sans bucket.

Can't wait to see these packs, they sound awesome. It's about time we got the missing half of the scanning crew. Really looking forward to seeing that officer too.
That's why I can't see them making him.

The scanner box is about the ony reason I'm interested in this, I've already bought enough figures since TLC.
So I'm not exactly needing a 2-pk of these, maybe if it had come out sooner!
I'm more interested in EBT and the INC these days, and the missing BSG.
Not to mention the Jumpsuit Imperials...
Well this isnt a 2-pack of Scanning Crewman. Its 1 Scanning Crewman in each set, with a Stormtrooper or an Imperial Officer of some kind, which I am really hoping is the black Jumpsuit Imperial.

If this IS a 2-pack with 1 x Scanning Trooper plus an Imperial Officer, I'm hoping that it would be the officer on the left. That's Captain Khurgee. There had been hints towards the end of the Hasbro Star Wars Q&A run that Hasbro *MIGHT* make a Captain Khurgee.
The way I see it, is an Olive uniform Imperial would be the one I want least, because we have good versions of that Imperial. I would prefer a BTIO over an Olive one, cos that figure isn't quite up to that standard.
But better than either of those would be the black jumpsuit Imperial, cos that figure is the worst of all, since its over 10 years old now.

So, this and the ewok catapult set were mentioned during the presentation, but images were not shown at all... Is that correct? For some reason, I thought they had been shown, but apparently that is wrong.
