Anyone going to purchase it?

If it's not all mucky, then maybe. I've always hated Sandtrooper 'weathering'. Without it, the figure can pull double duty as a regular Stormtrooper.

Yes, been tempted to pick up the build a droid version but its too pricey. So I'll get this if I can find it I'll buy at least one.

This is one I'm pretty excited about, actually. I may get 3 or 4 extra and paint the pauldrons black.

it's a stormtrooper so of course I'm going to get a couple. Pretty good wave for my personal collection.

This one didn't hit very heavily here, so I'm happy to see this #112 version again. It's got a decent number of accessories, so that's a bonus.

I kinda hope it's a cleaner version.....as opposed to an overly dirty one. I kinda like more subtle paint apps. For some reason they seem to look better to me.

Nice figure but big pass from me, I purchased a few when the vintage one went clearance for $5 each. So no need for more :p

It's hard to pass a decent Stormtrooper figure when I see them. But the tiny eyes have always bugged me about this figure. I wish they could've substituted the Rogue One Stormtrooper head into the mold. That would make this repack irresistible!

Has this figure been seen yet? There's no excuse to rerelease this poor sculpt. It's really overdue for a complete remake. They already have the perfect headsculpt from the 5POA. Will not purchase this if it is that same legacy version. Looks nothing like the troopers in the movies.

Agreed, I was looking forward to the R1 Trooper in SA form. /sadpanda.

Heh, might be alright I ended up with like 6 of the RO troopers. Can swap the heads out for better looking head sculpts, and still have some decent background troopers if I decide to make a diorama.

Planning to pick it up when it inevitably pegwarms. Never had an orange pauldron Sandtrooper ever, need someone to ride the Dewback, and the weathering's just right for me.

I sold my DTF Dewback last month after determining I was never going to get a rider for it... Ah well. Looking forward to this re-release, can't beat a squad of Sandtroopers.

I think the Tuskens and Ponda will be this wave's pegwarmers. I know, Ponda is so cool, but I'm guessing his appeal will be similar to Ackbar's. Army builders will jump at the chance to get these sandtroopers again, I know I will probably need a squad.

Are they clean or dirty or just weathered? That will determine how many I get.

It is dirty, like sand, look at the picture on the photo archives on Rebelscum on the TVC. it is the same toy, nothing different. my personal opinion it's that looks very good.

I think at first, Ponda will go rather quickly because a lot of people missed him during the TVC era. Depending on how many cases there are, he could slow down after the initial rush. I think the sandtrooper will do alright, but sandtroopers have had a rather wide release, so who knows if there will be a rush or not (I only have a few of this sandtrooper and I'm a fan, so I'll probably pick up a few). The Tusken hasn't been released for 5 years, but the elbows bother a lot of collectors. For anybody that missed the last release, they'll probably get him. I really think Boba is going to be a problem. It's not a film design, so casual buyers might pass by.

Already told the kids we are pretending Boba was on Hoth just in the background and you couldn't see him... because he was wearing all white.

If these came out at regular retail stores here in Germany, I think the sandtrooper and Boba Fett would probably sell fairly quickly. The Tusken would probably do well also because we haven't seen a Tusken in 5 years. Ponda Baba hit here pretty hard, so I think the market is already saturated with him. I'd still pick up a few Pondas for customizing, though.

I don't know about Germany but in the UK these are so overpriced it's staggering, even in the US the price is crackers. So it's hard for them to sell through fast. Now these repacks are not only too dear, they are terrible choices, so I just do not see how these are going to sell briskly, it's just not going to happen in any market. If these were released at a £5.99 price point I think they would be peg warmers (some of them have been!).

I'm not sure how the secondary market is in other countries, but here I can say that any desirable figures typically go for a pretty penny. TVC Sandtroopers are usually $20-35. I'll be happy to pay less than that.

undecided.. I think I have about 10 of him already from when they first came out. not sure if I want more. unless he's less weathered or all white I think I'll pass

Is the Black Series version missing the plastic attachment piece for the droid?

i might get 1 or 2 of him if he has that weathering, to go along with some scariff troops

Too difficulty for me to tell on the online pics but did anyone determine if these three rereleased figures are significantly different or different in any way from their earlier versions?

To my knowledge, they are exactly the same as their older counterparts.
