Love the deco on this one, will you be purchasing this Pack?

I’m in for a set.

Since they’re doing Season 3’s look, is it too late to ask them to include a Darksaber?

That’s probably her defining story arc for that season.

Cost aside, I think this is a nice set. I’m surprised at the amount of newness for Sabine. She looks really good.

Not much to say about Chopper. The new deco looks fine. A swappable rocket leg would’ve been nice.

Considering we’re paying a premium, I’d have liked a few more extras tossed in.

Maybe ditch a Loth kitty and give us a couple extra accessories for both Chop and Sabine.

. . . Or a Loth-Wolf. 😳

Great looking figure of Sabine! Thanks for those hi rez pics, I can now see how much new tooling is actually there. lol
So now I'm more forgiving on the price, though not too much. As I'm not really in the market for Chopper or the "special" cardback. If I knew this version was going to be a basic release at some point I would just wait it out.

I'm definitely getting one set but on the fence about more than that. I will likely get two just to play it safe and have a fall back in case something happens, but I don't really see the need for 3-5 of them. And though I'd like to max it out just in support of this avenue, is it really going to matter or help get us other things? And should we be encouraging this behavior? lol

That said and In truth, I'd love to see a 2-pk with Dogma and Pong Krell! Just think, all new for Pong and essentially a repainted Clone for Dogma. So I hope this format is successful if it means getting stuff like this below.

Also in for a 2-pk of Padawn Kestis and Master Jaro Topal!

While I have only mild interest in Rebels figures, the Sabine looks really great.

I just don't want another chopper at all and, even if I sell it off, it's still deluxe pricing for a single, carded figure.

Sigh.

I mean it's not so bad when you take into account that I can pass on Axe, Din, Grogu as well as the pipelined Dark Trooper, Din(jetpack) and HK-87 repaint. That's $102 save right there and pays for two of these sets!
Not to mention I'll be passing on Cassian and Finn, which frees up another $34. I just need one more passable figure and I can get a third set! 😁

Sabine really has the makings for a figure of the year, so I'm psyched for that. Only missing a darksaber to complete the look, really. Her paint apps look particularly great here.

Chopper is fine and I like the lothcats, even if it's the same pose as the one we've already got. 25 each though is tough to stomach. Even if you figure it 30 for Sabine and 20 for chopper, it doesn't point to a good value.

That said, they've still got my money on these cause I'm a sucker and part of the problem lol, but if the price creep continues they are going to lose me.

The Sabine tax strikes again. But I have no choice... she's my most wanted figure for TVC and this looks like it definitely delivered.

Isn't it funny how that worked out? It's almost as if they're really trying to condition us to pay more than $17 for a figure...
At $50 it's basically making her a $25 figure same as Jango, yet Jango pales in comparison value wise to what newness Sabine has. So I'm not as upset as I was with Jango.

I do wonder just how many $20, $25 and $28 releases are needed to keep this line viable? It will be an interesting year to track. Will we get to a point that only straight repacks Like Finn are $17 while all new become $20ish and those requiring pain will be the $25-28? And how exactly does Hasbro juggle them?

Anyone have the current Chopper release and know if it's possible to pop his arms out? Just trying to decide if I need one or two sets to have an "arms" or "no arms" option. Follow up would be- has anyone tried popping them back in?

So when they go for the Season 4 repaint, the mural colorscheme repaint, the slightly retooled Season 1 and Season 2 repaints, will they still be charging us the extra premium price? 🤨

If it's Sabine they will. lol
Between her two releases now, they are charging an average of 38.99 to have access to her.

Between the deluxe and the chopper double pack. Wild stuff

Yes, they will. Because you're not paying for "parts" you're paying for "paint", and if you want deco on your Sabine that's the cost. ;)

Even more expensive when you factor in tax and mandatory shipping (unless you're a premium member) behind the Pulse paywall. It comes out to over $30 for each of these, which I'm just finding ridiculous at this point. I don't like the premium and exclusive nature of what TVC is turning into, because it's going to price itself out of existence if Hasbro isn't careful.

I'd sooner have paid more to get a whole mural set of everyone. I'm still mad that I couldn't just buy a separate mural set when backing the Ghost. Now I have to decide whether to leave those figures carded or not. It's more Kanan that annoys me as I doubt some of the extras will be included in the single pack option.

These look better than I expected. But the price tag is a turn off. Still, I’ll probably order 2 sets.

One other comment: I'm absolutely ecstatic that they went with this particular color-scheme.

BUT they are missing the grey highlights on her torso and arms.

Gosh, I hate myself for looking at reference pictures and images.

Are you joking.

Why do we need to include Chopper? Why two loth cats? Why not a blast effect for him? Why $50??

Sabine looks good

This is my logic as well, and by backing The Ghost Haslab, i'm in for a penny anyways.

I didn't back the Ghost so I won't have any of the other figures. On the fence here. Sabine looks really good, but do I need her?

Yeah, it is a weird omission. What’s also odd is they remembered to add the markings to the pants. Not sure if they forgot or figured it what cost too much to add them to the rest of her body.

I can be forgiving on the missing details on the animation to realistic live action figures, but this is a pretty costly set, so it’d be nice if they could get those details right.

Is this Chopper than the different than the current carded release? Or is the only difference just the card back? Because I saw somewhere that this current VC Chopper was really under scaled.

I know the picture is cosplay, but find it difficult to find the style she has on in this figure... Is it inaccurate, an amalgamation, or am I missing something? (the figure is immaculate)

Season 3. It’s just the colors aren’t as bright and they’re missing the grey bits in her torso and arms.

EDIT: Here’s a reference pic that’s been shown in a few other threads:

Yeah that's the crappy part of it, and is why Hasbro need to do more Pulse Exclusives in order for Premium to even be worth it for me. Since all I buy is 3.75" Star Wars from them it's not exactly worthwhile investment 75% of the time, and without the 35% off sales even worse. Plus those sales are generally on things you've already bought months prior so not exactly that enticing unless you into customizing.

Interestingly, my membership expires in June, so I wonder how it will work out when this set finally ships and I'm no longer Premium?
And since they wait until teh end of the year to show teh good stuff I'm not sure if it will be worth upping again by June.

Yes, yes you do! Because even if you don't have the Ghost it's a great looking figure of a Mandalorian character, if you're into that sort of thing. Even without the Ghost I'd still buy this figure, just as I would have bought the whole crew minus Chopper several years ago!
It's your choice of course, but I'd rather buy it still on the fence rather than regret it later.

I just think more Pulse exclusives will mean less sales to the general public (eg: consumer groups that aren't hardcore collectors / men in their 40s), which could continue to reshape how this line and brand in general is delivered. If TVC can survive as a Pulse exclusive, they can test the market, but they'll lose a lot of customers in my opinion.

Thanks for the clarification on the costume above... Next question:
Do we know if the figures that are releasing with the Ghost and these 2 that make up the "mural" card art are going to be released on regular TVC cards eventually?

I'm so torn on whether I buy these to put with the ones I'm getting from the Ghost? Or if I'm selling the ones from the Ghost because I don't care about cards.

Perhaps, but I do see a day when the only way for TVC to survive is DTC formula. As it is most of the basic product doesn't even make it to Store shelves/pegs, at least not within a 75-mile radius of me and hasn't for several years. So the only avenue will be fewer retail partners with lower units made and higher prices. Maybe not for a while, but that day is coming, or simply the end of the line. These things are already getting too expensive that the average folk won't be able to afford anyway.

I kind of have a feeling this is the only animated Sabine we'll actually get, so it's a must buy for me.

It'll be nice to have a bunch of loth cats on/around the Ghost, too.
