Who’s looking forward to this Sabine Wren figure?

a definite buy. but i cant remember, is the helmet removable or and alt head? if alt, i may have to get 2 basic mainline rerelease (yah know hasbro loves to rerelease most delux fig in mainline as well) especially if the potential mainline has a purlpe name pile background. That's a NEW color for TVC and it would look sweet!

Amazing figure but he helmet is awful, I guess once I get her I'll salvage my customs and use on of those helmets.

Easily my most wanted TVC figure and looks way better than I expected

Three comments:
1. I wonder if @GalaxyShot posed these shots, because they really show off the figure.

2. For as much as they’re reusing the Bo Katan mold, I wish they went with a swappable helmet.

3. Wonder why they went with swivel wrists instead of ball-hinged ones.

Good looking figure, but I'm not seeing $28 worth of product, maybe a few bucks more because of the cat, but Hasbro is really pushing away potential customers with these prices. Imagine if you were a kid that grew up with the Rebels cartoon, and like the Ahsoka series, and want to get back into figures - paying about $30 for a single character in this line probably won't fly for most consumers. These tactics will probably prevent the younger generations from even getting into collecting at all.

As awesome as the rest of the figure looks, sans helmet and as much as I want her. I'm not paying $28 for that, I'm just not. Aside from the fact they're trying to "con" us into thinking all those accessories warrant the price hike, the horrible job on that helmet right on the heals of the Axe debacle just makes it all that more frustrating. Such a beautiful looking figure ruined by a simple mistake and Hasbro's greed. I mean i don't even see a Jetpack included in this price point!

I will either wait for a sale or a later version without all the junk included, a better sculpted helmet and that has her jetpack.

Is that the Cochs we've been hearing about? Nice to have face to go with disingenuous.

when i googled the name for a pic, this was 1 of several that came up w/ caption that hasbro promotes Chris ****....so i assume so.

I helped a little on this shoot, but it was mostly my boss actually! But otherwise I barely worked on any of these SDCC reveals because I was busy shooting GI Joe and Marvel.

I'll get one, but I'm already wondering if I can modify an extra helmeted Bo Katan head to match. Different visor but it's sized better. I'm guessing Sabine will spend a lot of time without her helmet on in the show.

I suppose one could if they wanted to go to the trouble, but I content that Bo-Katan's was too small. It's almost as if Hasbro can't find the "just right" bowl of porridge. My hope is that when they revisit Bo-Katan to updated her for S3 they will fix the helmet to one that actually looks like her head is inside.

Knowing Hasbro though they probably don't even know it's an issue and feel the cost of new shoulder armor and head sculpt with longer hair is enough to spend on a refresh. Especially if they pack in the Darksaber and mini arm shield.

Why is this figure "deluxe", exactly? Because it comes with a friggin' Loth cat??

I'm sick of Hasbro's b.s. with these so-called "deluxe" figures. I mean, at least they should have an accessory the size of the items that came with the damn Anniversary Collection twenty years ago. This is a joke.

F Off with that, Hasbro. Another pass on principle.

I did an Ursa Wren Clone Wars helmet off the Bo Katan/Koska Reeves helmet.

Just would be an utter PITA to do all the markings on Sabine’s helmet (any version).

Sabine’s helmet doesn’t have as pointy a “beak” as Bo’s visor, but my personal head-canon is that Ursa gave the helmet to Sabine as a family heirloom. So, they are have the same general shape/look. That’s my justification! 😬

Thats what I did for my 2nd Sabine custom iteration

If the Sabine is as much of Bo as she seems i'll just take my custom's helmet and redo it for the real figure.
Also take the custom's jetpack lol.

It doesn't look great but looks better than these bobble head helmets.

A deluxe for me would be swappable chest and thigh armors with helmets to do Sabine’s various looks.

The sad thing is that even Sabine’s official bucket has the paint lines slightly off-center. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Her bucket does appear to be rather big but I think the old 5 poa figure helmet size was just right. I may just swap them out. I never did finish my custom sabine anyway. Then she would at least match the ghost crew better.

Unless your painting skill aren't up to the task, like mine. lol
I will say that her TCW deco is probably a tad easier than her Rebels look, which is the version I want.

That said, I wouldn't say no to a Bo repaint/retool in order to get her officially. *Hasbro if you're reading this*
And if the 2-pk thing is truly viable avenue for retools maybe her and Tiber Saxon.

Honestly helmet complaints aside and the question of deluxe

This is an amazing figure,
Think it looks better than both Black Series versions.

It's kinda funny finally getting her though because now im like
"Man I wish we had female scout troopers,
Man I wish we had female tie pilots"
specifically for a disguise figure

But also stuff like Sabine's A-wing like the Hera one we got.
Or prototype B-Wing

Heck im wishing I bought one of those super cheap tie fighters to make into her modified one

Figure looks awesome, except for the laughably large helmet. I’ll probably display her without it since she often doesn’t wear it anyway.

Still hoping we get a leather jacket + long hair version. It’s a great look for her.

As much as i'd like that, it would need a lot of stuff

That image brings up 1 issue I have with the figure but its entirely on the show's design.
I like that they added the bracers to the Epilogue/Ahsoka design
I can get over removing the bandoleers from the boots....

However removing the large hip pouches throws off the design personally.

I'm definitely in for one. Other than th Ghost, this was my favorite SW reveal of the weekend!

Yeah that helmet looks a little goofy, but she spent a lot of time with it off. Maybe I'll swap it with the 5 POA helmet or get a cheap Bo and repaint the helmet. I'm also glad she comes with the loth cat. I'm a sucker for animal companions in any line.
