Anyone picking up the new RS Props Biker Scout blaster? Direct lineage and limited to only 125. Comes with plaque and stand; not a bad price at 250 GBP.

I got one as soon as it went up, I’ve wanted a lineage scout pistol for a while. The price was a bit higher than I expected but no one else has ever offered this before so I bit the bullet. Nice that it comes with its own stand and plaque too.

Same here. Will go nicely with my RS SE Scout helmet

The internet was off for a while so my reply was truncated. I also wanted a Scout blaster made from a lineage prop, and even talked to Rob and Si for years about RS finding and making one. The EFX Legend Scout blaster that should come with the Scout trooper helmet might be a cool project, but it is just that, a project, and maybe if/when released, it could be cleaned up and even glued permanently to the base. At the same time fan made Scout blasters existed for a long time already, some more accurate than others, some even with real greeblies and parts cast from real parts, but we never had a 100% lineage Scout pistol so far. So I was definitely in for one, and the fact that is comes with a cool stand, plaque and COA even better.

You can see the youtube video where Rob is talking about this Scout blaster:

Didn't realise about the choice of cleaned vs weathered. I'll have to try to find some reference pictures of the actual prop to help me decide

I talked to Andrea, Rob lovely wife, and she said Rob will be contacting each client when they get to that particular blaster to discuss weathering or clean.

I slept on this Saturday night by Sunday morning they were gone.
The old saying goes yer not fast yer last!
RS may give another opportunity on these as they have done with other pieces in the past 🙏 especially when there's a demand by the community.

I almost missed the announcement myself. I got a phone notification of new RS youtube video, but I don't like watching videos on my phone, so I waited till getting home. I worked longer hours than usual and I almost forgot to watch the video. The moment I watched it I contacted Rob and Andrea to save me a spot, because, after I told them about a few nasty recasters in my country, a few years ago, they (with my approval too) decided to remove my country from the orders list - with the mention that if I want to order anything from RS to contact them directly and pay by paypal directly. This is how a serious and dedicated company helps fans (the funny thing is this is how EFX worked at their beginning, and how things have changed there alas).

Anyway, after getting this Scout pistol, I can consider my blaster collection finished. Of course I could go further for a DLT-19 or other big rifles, but since demilled ones are not allowed here, I am not too interested in resin/rubber ones. Maybe in an airsoft DLT-19, but that seems to cost a lot, and being shipped from Hong Kong, could cause other problems with customs. Still one day I hope to find a nice airsoft Sterling (Evike maybe) in Europe to get it converted.

Till then cannot wait for this accurate Scout blaster to arrive. RS also offered that cool ESB Stunt Stormtrooper/Snowtrooper resin E-11 (aka Pugman), but till now no one else offered a lineage Scout blaster. Knowing RS, they will keep all the cool dents and warps the original has. 👍

I missed on this one. I had no idea it was being offered. I do have an excellent prop of the blaster, very close to the original prop, but this one with a direct lineage would have been a perfect addition to my blaster collection. Oh well, as the saying goes: "You snooze , you lose"

Who knows, the the future they might decide to do another short run, without the suit. This run came and went so fast I didn't even have time to think about. I wish I could have let my friends know about, but would have been too late already. I also wish RS would send the email newsletters like before, this way if you miss the youtube announcement, you can get it by email.

RS has been operating this way for a while. They don't want too many people knowing about their LE releases (I assume to avoid website/server crashes). I never knew about their Y-Wing or SE Gold Leader helmets going on sale until they were sold out so now I'm subscribed to their YouTube channel and check their FB page almost daily (even though I'm not registered with FB).

That is good. :) I sent them to Rob as well, by Facebook PM. I'm sure their weathering will be excellent when they finish the blasters
Absolutely. This will be the 1st blaster in my collection. Might try to get their lineage E11 in the future

You can get their ESB Stunt aka Pugman too. It is rough, but has a great story, as being used by Stormtroopers and Snowtroopers, and even in Pugman ESB Stromtrooper blaster Leia2.jpgcool promo shots with Carrie Fisher

Might have to look in to that at some point in the future. I have an ESB Stunt - Alan Harris SE, and the Snowtrooper SE so would display nicely with either

Was fortunate to grab one of these too. I believe production has already started…can’t wait to get it.

Mine arrived last week, awesome replica for the price!

Looks great. What can you say about it like moving parts, quality of cast, details, weight etc.?

I have one on pre-order, and if all goes well it will be less than MSRP. After getting it, I need to source the few greeblies this rifle had to be converted into DLT-19.

Convinced a local friend to get one as he's a huge scout fan. Was sitting at the pizza place watching the in-stock number go down, from 6 to 4 than to 2 and gone. Hopefully I'll get to see it when it arrives

Weighs almost as much as the real deal (16 lbs), the charging handle cocks and trigger fires, the only moving parts are the trigger, sights, charging handle and bipod. It looks almost identical to real deal except the sights seem a little over sized compared to real deal. Here’s a pic comparing it to a real deal MG34 I had. The cast is nice and clean and the wooden stock is very nice, so nice that I don’t really want to spray it black.
