Looks like we'll be seeing a SA Resistance Tech Rose figure in the Black Series line.

In teresting choice. Not to impressed by the realization though. T-crotch is awful. At first, i even thought it was a 6" figure :p

Same here. lol
The when it was said that it's a 4" figure, I though oh well I guess I'm pleased. Maybe...
I like the fact we're getting her, now I don't have to buy the 5POA version at all. But I'm seriously over their flawed design on SA figures. It feels like a big middle finger aimed at customizers as payback somehow. BRING back swivel waists please! Luke has it so why the difference? Also, ditch that freaking hard plastic back to the more pliable stuff. If you want to use HARD plastic, use it for the weapons!

That's not a typical T-crotch though, it's the new BH hips that I extremely dislike. Pleas bring back swivel hips too.

Odd choice here. I was looking forward to Rey. I'll get her, but I would have happily waited until 2019 to get this figure.

All of this.

(except for the "hard plastic for weapons"). They're tiny and have to be soft or they'd kill babies.

Then don't feed them to babies. ^ Never did quite understand this, I survived w/o choking on toys, same as my Sister, Cousin etc. NO one I know personally has ever choked on a toy, and died.

I gotta say, I think the 5 POA version looks way better.
I wouldn't say way better, just better looking in certain places.

Wow. You and your friends must be geniuses. Thank goodness you're still here.

Doesn't mean we don't need reasonably safety standards to live in a society.

it's interesting though, that Hasbro seems to be the only Company that does this. ALL the other action figure weapons are hard plastic...

Yeah, just because you don't know someone who died from it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I mean you're a lot less likely to know the people who did die right?

Rian Johnson said at Celebration that Rose is the biggest new character in the movie. Think of Yoda, Fett, Emperor, Jabba, Ewoks. The biggest new character in a Star Wars sequel tends to be pretty big. Granted, the ST is a lot less original so is most likely re-using the side characters way more than usual. But Hasbro may be justified in putting her in the three main figure lines so quickly.

If that's the case, I hope she lives past EP 9 and they make 3 more movies about her.

Joking aside, it will be nice to see someone get some depth to their character. Fett wasn't really a big character though, he was essentially a throw a way that found a following.

I often wondered if the soft bendy weapons were any safer. I mean, if the bend/fold they could go deeper down a child's throat, maybe even open up and be harder to remove. Think about the guy on "1000 ways to die" that tried to swotd-swallow an umbrella. Just my $0.02

if you don't like the website, don't visit it. Other people can do what they want.

I worked for that site. The troll in chief drove out most of the good people who didn't want to write like a bunch of whiny babies. So I said "See ya!"

Don't feed (or link to) the trolls.

I've tried over there. I've attempted to comment on the articles and stuff recently. The comment section, for almost every article, turns into a moderated mess by Paul with his followers blatantly saying things to stroke his ego. It's actually weird. I did enjoy doing the survey that they has posted a few weeks back. I am actually surprised he hasn't "blocked my IP address!" like he always threatens based on my comments in the survey.

Ill take the whiny baby writing over the loyal Hasbro little troopers!

I think it's entirely possible to be critical of Hasbro without resorting to over the top histrionics. There is a middle ground. And the whiny baby writing is nowhere near being reasonable, and it only serves the egos those doing the complaining while simultaneously jeopardizing access with the source of the information.

I know it's early but Rose is already starting to look like the new Finn. I found remnants of cases at 2 other local Walmarts and that was left was the 3 Rose figures. Luckily I was able to grab a complete set the other day. I know there was probably some diversification ploy to try and get more of the new female Asian character out there...but this wave should have included Rey. Or Kylo. Or Poe. Instead it's a chubby Ghostbuster with pegwarmer written all over it.

Found her and the Stormtrooper Executioner today. I personally like her. Granted the outfit isn't flashy but it's very well sculpted, and the plastic is rather flexible, which I think is good because the harder plastic breaks too easily. I also noticed there's a little peg hole on her belt to hold her little tool. Very pose able as well, she can actually hold the rifle at the correct pose in order to "aim."

Im not sure how to quantify the reasonability of "whiny baby writing", but they still have access to sources of good information.

The tone of entitlement and whining creates an environment over there that erodes any good will that their reporting might generate. That's why I go elsewhere for news.

And then there's the comments sections of their articles. Don't agree with the chief whiny baby? Then he's going to shut you down because he doesn't tolerate other opinions. It's like he wants to be the Star Wars collecting site version of Fox News.

She may be a possible pegwarmer due to her over packing status. But I've noticed that besides the head sculpt, there seems to be no gender identifiable markings on any of the figures. Looked closely at Paige and Rose and there seems to be no definable breast area. Thus these figure should be able to be used as customs for Male characters. If and when there are any male Pilots and Techs in the movie.

Those 3 were still pegwarming here when they knocked them down to $5. Even after $5 there are still loads of TFA Han, Leia, Casian and Finn

It depends, thay are both small as heck next to males. Paige is clearly female next to 5POA Poe and even smaller next to SA Poe.
Her size is like a perfect match with the Imperial ground crew(Jyn) from Rogue One.
Rose is even smaller than that.

The figure is still feminine, its just that her outfit is rather like Baz's, oversized space fatigues and actress appears very small and petite to begin with. I guess you could pull off generic male Rebels/Resistance but they'd be like pre*****cent boys or something. Its an OK figure but nothing great, a rather dull character like Finn I suspect. The shelves are full of pegwarmers already which worries me if the Walmarts will ever get new figures in at all, since many of the older figures are stacked on the rack full of the same usual figures back-to-back-to-back.

TLJ versions of Kylo, Rey or Poe would have been infinitely better choices than Rose.

Out of curiosity how exactly does he shut someone down when he doesn't agree ? Does he eliminate the comment some how?

On a side note, how does Fox News shut you down?

Im honestly asking to understand exactly what you're claiming.

Better than the lunatics of BS and fake news like CNN and MSNBC obviously your Heroes!

Yes. The comments section of his articles have turned into discussions that resemble something that's more like professional wrestling than legitimate discussion. And when people get vocal in their disagreements? He's been renowned for either deleting their comments or banning them from commenting. Way to have an open discussion, right?

As for comparisons to FNC? It's more about how there are incredibly blurred lines between FACT and OPINION, and that the way people feel about a given topic is given more weight than any sort of reasoned argument.

Even if he doesn't delete the comment or ban the user he goes with the whole cry baby mentality of "this is my site so agree with me or I'll ban you". It's like a petulant child.

And honestly enough with the breaking news and "we called it" rumors. Half that stuff any schmuck can predict and most of the breaking news comes from somewhere else.

I admittedly did use that site a bit over the past few weeks as it was the easiest place to see all the FF2 news that came from Yahoo, Entertainment Weekly etc all in one spot. None of it was JTA news - just a collection of news from everywhere else.

Also I will give credit where credit is due. The guy obviously has a passion for Star Wars and collecting. Something I noticed over the past few weeks was that there was an in depth review of current and past figures with tons of information and photos.

What I find odd/hilarious, is that all the news stations are ultimately owned by only about 3 Corporations. Yet we're expected to believe they are being unbiased, and offer different views? Truthfully I've always felt that they only ever reported on something if the Govt. allowed it. That's why for a time, I only believed what Independent Journalists reported. But in the end, even they could be bought. This is why I choose not to watch anymore, I'm tired of slight of hand misdirects. Trying to keep our attention away from what they don't want u to see.

The thigh cuts are indeed pointless and harm aesthetics. Don't really see the point. If you have ball-jointed hips and fully-articulated knees, what possible advantage to cut hips provide? It's baffling.

And, I continue to feel, as I always have, that waist joints are far, far superior to torso joints for a variety of reasons. Aesthetics first, customizing potential second, but also freedom of movement. The waist joint provides much more poseability.

All that said, this is a very spiffy figure, though it's debatable if this version or the basic figure has the better head sculpt. Hard to say.

However, I'm delighted that this was one of the first Black Series figures. New is always preferable to old.
