Just read this. Sad news, but not unexpected. Excellent actor, and definitely one of the greats
I first remember seeing MVS in The Seventh Seal (1957) on TV in the early '90's; even though we didn't have cable, I remember somehow seeing it uncut (PBS?!). Definitely one of the best films I've seen; very grim & dark.
Other great roles include: The Exorcist, Flash Gordon, Minority Report, Pelle the Conqueror, Until the End of the World, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and too many others to list.
