Ben Solo would’ve been better to make before a dark Rey. Better yet let’s pretend 7-9 didn’t happen and let Mando pave the way

I like the look of the Dark Rey and would definitely buy one.

And as others have noted - what's ANY good Star Wars action figure line without figures of characters that appear for seconds.

PLEASE, MAKE MORE OF THOSE FIGURES.

It's a good-looking figure from a film I'll never spend another cent on, and represents a character and story that scream "wasted opportunity."
 
While I have no use for Darkside Rey, the figure itself certainly might have its uses. Perhaps even Visas Marr!
 
Yeah, this is another figure I will purchase Hasbro!
 
Weird that she is 3$ more on Amazon than pulse. Amazon doesn't usually upcharge. Other new figs that just showed up are at MSRP
 
I like it. It’s one of only a handful of TROS figures I’d be interested in. Don’t care if it was 2 seconds of the movie. Always down with more red blades
 
They likely have her confused as being a TVC figure. I'm sure they will catch on. Interested to see if they honor that price for anyone that POs her before they catch it.
 
I went ahead and pre-ordered, if they increase the price(via CC notification) I can always cancel it.
 
Even at 12.99, I dont really feel like getting this. There has just been too many rey figures. . . and I am fatigued.

lol we'll see how it works out, that $30 is a hard pill to swallow for me.

If I do get that price I'll definitely have some cheap fodder for customs.
 
People complain as if obscure figures are not classic star wars toy collecting. Its well known outside of collecting that every little character gets a toy and back story. I get people hate Rey and sequels but this is a really cool design no matter how you feel. A huge factor in selling toys is the asthetics. If a toy looks cool(like this) it has a chance to sell based on that alone.

Plus isn't having toys all about creating your own stories? You can not tell me Dark Side Rey isn't a great tool for that. Especially after years of people speculating shed turn. Now she can!
 
Yeah, I have no problem with a figure from a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene. I bought the ESB Han Solo in a trenchcoat as he's working on the Falcon figure in the TVC line. I want a Dagobah Landing Luke even though I have Snowspeeder Luke and Dagobah Luke. I don't hate on this figure existing.

The issue for me comes from the lack of figures for other main characters from the sequel trilogy while we get yet another Rey. People have already mentioned Ben Solo (which I would get) and a TROS Emperor (which I probably wouldn't, since I didn't like anything about him in the movie). In addition: we don't have a Finn or Poe from this movie. No Aftab Ackbar or Nien Nunb (RIP). And we didn't get an Old Lando or a Memory Han Solo (which would double as a needed update for TFA Han). We didn't even get a General Leia from either TLJ or TROS.

I know, I know...people here hate the sequels and any figure from them would be bad and dumb. Hey, maybe this Rey will sell because dark side figures are cool, people like red lightsabers, folks see custom opportunities...or because it ends up being a great figure. And maybe any other TROS figure would go nowhere...again, I am not a fan of that movie. But if they are going to bring out more characters from it, I'd rather get more characters instead of the same one again.

It's all about asthetics for me, all these years later. I want this version of Rey cause it looks cool. Far better than her main TROS outfit which is just the TFA duds with a hood imo. Same reason I have more Boba Fetts in my collection than any other figure, and thinking of buying another lol
