Greetings, Rebelscum! Our friends at Regal Robot are introducing a new collection to their Star Wars products!
Fresh off a whole slate of new creation reveals at Star Wars Celebration, Regal Robot’s newest Archive Collection replica is now up for pre-order at RegalRobot.com.

The Max Rebo Concept Maquette Replica - Numbered Edition is a 1:1 recreation of Phil Tippett’s concept sculpture for this fan-favorite character. Scanned directly from the original artifact in the prop archives, each is made-in-the-U.S.A. and hand painted by the FX artists at Regal’s New York studio. The maquette really showcases the original design intent for the character, from his only-two-limbs body right down to his (not surprisingly, popular) sculpted rear end. The edition is limited to just 250 pieces, with a hand-numbered metal plaque and priced at $399 with payment plan options of up to 6 months.

Learn more about their work on this project and the history with the original Max Rebo costume in an interview with Regal Robot founder, Tom Spina, which was released on the official Star Wars™ site.
Visit the Regal Robot website to learn more today, and pre-order yours now! Also, you can check out our Celebration interview with Tom here:
What do you think about this latest Max Rebo maquette? Did you know that based on his original design, all of the figures have been wrong? Let us know below!
