The Black Collection 6" has found it's way onto ebay so it can't be long before they hit elsewhere. Post your Black Collection 6" finds here, make sure to include where you got it from as well to help out other forum members.

Just bought the set today at TRU with their Buy 1 Get 1 50% off sale. Then as I was walking out I checked Hasbro's site and was able to snag an SDCC Boba Fett before they were gone.

My first question is about the numbers for this series. I see that Luke is #01, Maul #02, Sandtrooper #03, and R2 #04. Does Boba Fett have a number?

Anyone have the Dpci number for the 6 inch black series?

Here's the link to the DPCI Lookup: Target Mobile : Expect More Pay Less

The DPCI is: 087-06-1941

Did a quick search on the site using the Target Distribution Centers and saw a Target or two in Nevada, Arizona, and Texas have these. They've just started going out, but we should see them nationwide in the next week or so.

Probably not. People would be hiring contract killers right now if they'd numbered Fett.

I am shocked that no RSers have found these yet, seeing as they're being reported in the southern west coast states.

There are threads in other sections where scummers have mentioned seeing them, but didn't pick them up. They are definitely out there.

Both the 3.75" and the 6" figures were found at Toys R Us here in Phoenix, AZ in the last couple of days, also at Targets in Tucson, AZ. I posted a pic in the 3.75" recent acq. Thread.

The exclusive version has no number but the basic release is number 6.

Picked up Sandtrooper and Luke at Toys R Us today. They were the last two 6" figures there. Rang up with the Buy 1 Get 1 Half Off Star Wars sale, which was nice. Not sure how much it helps, since they are sold out now. But it was the Toys R Us at the Domain in Austin, Texas. I wasn't interested, but they also had a good number of the first wave of 3.75" figures.

Checked TRU here in San Antonio and they didn't have the 6" figures (or even a sticker for them) but I did find the 3 3/4" Black Series so not a total loss. Based on you finding them in Austin I will be checking daily though!

Got my Sandtrooper from Target! They got them early at my local store. All I had to do was ask an employee to check with the warehouse people and he brought out one of each from this wave. I would have bought them all, but I'm saving for the next set.

Thank you very much for posting this.

Unfortunately, "in stock" and "on the shelf" are two different things.

So are they $19.99 at every store? I know Wal-Mart usually beats Toys R us and even Target on prices for most items.

Definitely. But most stores will get them out of the back for you.

The wait for them to get to the East Coast is getting pretty tough.

What ever happened to everything being five bucks under the MSRP? What ever happened to Walmart being devious and underhanded in order to get the lowest prices?

They're still just as devious and underhanded as ever (speaking as someone who worked at Walmart for 2 years). However, I don't think any of these figures have been sighted at a Walmart yet. Most Walmarts are still a couple of weeks away from doing their big fall resets; so we probably won't see them until after that.

Location? :)

This was in the California San Francisco East Bay Area. The Target is in a town called Walnut Creek. Based on the DPCI lookup, they are the only place for miles to have the new wave. I believe I was the first one to get them there, so :D

Yeah, I asked an employee there if he could lookup a number and he then turned that over to a guy in the warehouse. A couple minutes later he came out with one of each! They may not all do this, but places like Target shouldn't give you any trouble. A sale now isn't much different from a sale later to them. To my favor though, the guy I asked was new.

I'm curious to hear how Walmart is devious and underhanded because they'll sell a toy for less profit than someone else because they understand they'll sell more of them

Queue the anti-walmart comments.

But really, they get a better margin because they usually order more than other stores and they don't have products sitting in distribution centers. Everything is sent directly to stores using Just In Time stocking and that saves them a ton in operating costs.

That discussion will get into personal and geopolitical political areas within a single comment, so we better just avoid it.

If the final product looks like this, you can have 'em. If it does, I'll be stripping and repainting (or possibly recasting) the Sandtrooper helmet.

Personally, I'm more jazzed about the Saga Legends Stormtrooper.

Thanks for the info. I entered my zip and up to 18 miles all of these stores say out of stock.

I don't think my area received it yet.

keep in mind people, Target is gearing up for a toy reset so it's possible that they have the 6" figures in the back but because it's sitting as "Transition" it might not have been processed and wont show up in the system yet...

Good to know. Was wondering if it worked similar to that.

They do have stuff in the back as of today, a fellow AZ collector scored a fresh case but had to ask an employee to pull it from the back using the DCPI #.

Spooky, you work for the bullseye, right?

Does this whole DCPI pull-it-from-the-back practice that we collectors engage in screw up the inventory system at all?

I don't know how Target does it, but seems like if DCPI shows it in stock at a store, then it is part of that store's inventory. As long as it is scanned at the register, it should remove one from inventory.

Yep, I concur. It's part of the inventory once they accept the shipment off the truck.

Checking by DCPI, the 6" BS is not in my area yet.

We never know what the DC is sending us, but everything is scanned when we take it off the trucks, scanning it tells us if it's push, backstock, or Transition, if it's push then it goes directly out to the floor, if it's backstock then it goes directly to our backroom where we scan it again and actually place it in backroom inventory, if it's transition then it goes into a holding area where (when someone finally gets to it) it is further broken down then placed on transition pallets and scanned in for the planagram team to pull when they do their resets of that area. I dont know about other stores but in my store sometimes the transition sits for days until they get to it and it isnt in the system until then

Swooped up a Boba Fett and Han Carbonite off eBay, and got my shipping notice from BBTS for a set of Wave 1, so they should all be showing up at my door around the same time.

Last week wave 1 hit all the Toys'R Us in Utah on 7/24. Picked up Luke with a damaged box on 7/25...everything else was gone. No sign at Target or Walmart.

Question, on the DCPI seach, if it is listed at Transitional, would the search come up as out of stock?

Does anyone know if there is an "official" reset date for Target?

The targets in a 75 mile radius from me still says out of stock. Bummer.
