My 13" Shazam arrived today! I'm really enjoying this line but wish they'd make more soon. So far I have Superman, Batman, Superman Returns, and Aquaman. Now I'm just searching everywhere for a Green Lantern to go with the rest of the team.

i have a question just picked a shazam kingdom come figure from a seller just wanted to know if it is common for kc figs not to be taped sealed (tape on top sides of the box) as compared to the dark knight returns figs and new frontier figs just want to make sure i didn't get a resealed figure (im a moc collector) hope any of you guys can help me out thanks-pichon

All DC Direct figures should be tape-sealed regardless of what series they are from, so it could be a resealed figure, or it might just be a factory fluke, lets hope it is a fluke and that you didn't get cheated.

ya i hope so thanks i just got a ar justice league shazam and it is tapeed sealed the thing is kc are hard to come by here so its hard to make comparisons but i found a shop that is selling one so ill check out . if indeed it is a reseal ill just put it up for sale and get the other one i saw

I just received the five figures from the Death of Superman DVD set, and Batman and the Joker from the Batman and Son set. They are all very cool. I was just a little surprised to see DC Direct making tiny Mattel-like figures for Superman. They're neat, but don't look anything like any of my other DC Direct figures.

Just received my FREE Kingdom Come ReActivated set of figures from the CTR trivia contest for Toy Fare '08.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman & Green Lantern! This is so awesome and to think I was just about to purchase them at my local Suncoast within a month!

I bought Absorbing Man and Wendigo today. Not worth the $30+ for two figures. But I never saw Absorbing Man in that Spiderman Classics 2-pack from years ago that goes for large cash. So I got him. The only 2-pack I ever saw had Punisher in it, and I passed, as did every other human on the planet.

Grabbed TDK 4inch pack of Goon and Batman. Batman is okay but Goon is about 4.5 inches. Way too tall.

I found w1 JLU SC I picked up Classic Batman, Black Costume Supes & Hawkman
also last week I found w1 of the 6pks I picked up both of them, & I got my Giganta 2pk from mattycollector.

Dudes I totally scored a unmasked MM Batman today @ lunch! Never thought I would see one of these in person.
Okay this edit is because I think this is cool....
So I decide I need to go up to Target to grab some sundries and what not, and I of course swing by the action figure aisle. Lo and behold on the pegs sits 2 Green Lanterns, Variant Corps Sinestro, Variant Unmasked Deathstroke, and a Nightwing?! No Robin. I'm like WTH?! I didn't think both variants shipped in one case, and obviously someone had been there before me, yet all they took was Robin? It was a real AF Twilight Zone moment.

Picked up the Marvel Selects Modern Thor at the comic shop today. Gotta be careful with his hands, the joints are sticking & I don't wanna break 'em, but he's a really cool figure. Close to Legends/DCU artculation, good sculpt, pretty big, and a nice representation of the art-style & overall design! Now I can completely forget trying to get the Giant-Man ML Thor.
