Phase_Runner’s triptych of planertary prints arrived Saturday. A nice set in my opinion and I hope he continues with the series.

Here's a few I picked up this last month, the first two were sold out on ACME archives so I found other avenues for them and the third I bought to go with my Sidious Mythos. Now it's time to frame them...

A little backstory to my last acquisitions. About six years ago, I saw this original oil painting of Boba Fett in a local art store here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I loved it, but it was $4000, and there was no giclee available for it. I located the artist (Luis Berros) on Facebook and messaged him to tell him how much I loved it. He's based in Miami and was appreciative of me giving him info on his painting as he didn't know where it went after he painted it for Disney.

Fast forward to current day. He's been sketching Fett for fun and posting about it on Facebook due to the popularity of The Mandalorian. I commented on his posts, and he must've remembered me. He mailed me a couple of his sketches, which I received last night. So stoked to add them to my collection.

I bought a copy of Christopher Cushman's wonderful Millennium Falcon Cutaway.

I know i have this already, but i bought it on ebay and is occurred to me that i wasn't really helping the artist, hence a second copy. Besides, they're relatively cheap.

By 2020, new wall space has become non-existent, so made the plunge and finally picked up a Baroque portfolio. Hence, many fine SW prints were purchased much to the chagrin of my wallet. Though nearly all are hidden in the book, one small piece was special enough for me to custom frame & hang. Here's an original, watercolor/ink/mixed media piece from California artist Brian Canio. He does commissions too. Shop: https://maxxsterling.bigcartel.com/ Cool guy. He even threw in this pen drawn Kuiil for free. This is the way!

I bought this Han Solo original by Nick Holdsworth.

Not my usual thing, but it featured enough Millennium Falcon to justify me getting it. It doesn't look like much in this image but it's very impressive up close. Mixed media on board, it's 120x 90cms plus the frame. I was rather taken by its Pop art look.
